Does a great job as advertised!!!!!!

Using this on a motorcycle and every other buckle build is either plastic or cheap metal that has bad or weak safety features that would allow the buckle mount to move when under heavy vibration. This buckle mount is beautifully engineered. It is high quality a machined very very well. The buckle itself has two springs pushing out the locking arms and they are strong. To add to that safety there is a metal thumb screw that comes with a nylon tip built in to protect the other half of your buckle assembly. There is another thumb wheel that unlocks the mount to pivot if you need it to that also is very well engineered. A heavy spring holds the pivot assembly on finely machined teeth so even if you forget to tighten the thumbwheel your camera isn't going anywhere. I took this assembly with a forevercam large tube mount for a 150 mile ride and nothing moved, shifted or vibrated. Very good engineering here. I liked it so much I bought a second one.

This is very well made and I really wanted to use it, it did not however work. I use a media mod on my GoPro so that I can attach an external mic if I want to and I like the ability to plug into an external battery. The first problem came from the T handle on the end of the screw. You can not turn something that large with the media mod attached. So I decided to use one of the regular Screws with it. The problem is that the metal sides of the bracket are slightly thiner than the normal plastic ones and this allowed the screw to advance too far and let it hit the media mod housing. So I decided to take my camera out of the media mod housing to go swimming. It worked great, but was just heavy enough that my camera would now sink. It is super well made and I have started using in on the front bumper of my jeep where I do not care about sound or flotation. This would be so great with a low profile screw that was long enough to use with the media mod. I really should not blame this product since I believe the media mod is perhaps GoPro's worst designed piece of equipment.

The media could not be loaded. I've been using this for months on a gokart setup, so far it had been working pretty good, with the all metal bolt on baseplate. The problem is the baseplate of this clip that secures the springs and everything is held in by some pretty short screws.I could have been better about checking this, but some kind of update preventing this with longer screws would be great. The adjustment screw also got lost pretty quick from vibrations.... not 100% sure how to fix that one, maybe give us a hole in the middle of it? There are holes on the clips! You could safteywire that nut to one of the clips I think.I would still recommend this, just disassemble it and cover all the screws in red loctite if you plan on using it under high vibrations applications, and remove the adjustable nut before going on track...Never had a problem with the 360portion coming loose!

Forevercam Aluminum Buckle Clip Is awesome. This clip is made very well and so easy to use. On top of the fact that you can rotate the GoPro in any direction. It’s truly great. If mounting my GoPro out side of my vehicle I will be using this mount for an additional peace of mind.

This thing is legit and exactly the quality I like my active equipment to be. I love that this is designed to be used indefinitely and there aren't any stress points that will eventually break or wear out. This thing is definitely worth the money. Kudos to the creators of this product, they nailed it 100%
