Husband loves his Bible.

This is almost the perfect Bible, needless to say, it's the nicest NRSVue I've found so far, and I use it as my regular Bible now. I only wish I had some more margin space or I would give 5 stars! Additionally, some of the pages do stick together on the edges slightly at first, but this is not an issue and they separate easily.

For the print and binding quality I was worried it would not be great because of the cheap price, but it was actually really good. While there are smaller bibles, this one is also a very compact size, good for daily comfort use at home, and small enough to pack in a bag.As far as the version goes, it should be the standard for students, academics, or Christians who want the most accurate translation. There is a good amount of footnotes, with just the right amount of detail, which is especially helpful for a person who has a beginner to moderate understanding of manuscripts and their variations, so you can for example quickly get an idea of which verses aren't in some of the oldest/best manuscripts.The wording and feel of the verses is good, not too literal or rigid.
