Just what I wanted
It quietly ticks until the alarm begins, nice and loud. And the price was right.

Great looks, no racket
I always liked the look of this style clock. A long time ago, I purchased one; the genuine article which had to be wound up daily. What kept me awake at night was the very loud, “TICK - TICK - TICK - …”, all night long. Got rid of that one and now, decades later, finally replaced it with a silent electric version. Ahhhhhh! Quiet, yet still good looking. So far it also keeps time well.

Looks nice, works well
I love the vintage look of this alarm clock. It's easy to set and seems to keep good time, but the ticking is louder than I was expecting. Definitely not "silent". The actual alarm is quite loud, which is a good thing for a very heavy sleeper like me.

Best...get outta bed alarm clock there is!
I have had this (same model) clock "ring" me out of bed for many years...it died and this is the replacement. I am so glad I can still purchase this very reliable, very noisy (oh, you're getting up...no sleeping thru this bad boy's ring!), excellent quality clock/alarm clock. Yes, I set alarms on my cell phone...but like I said, there is no sleeping thru this one!

Returned It.
This is a cheap piece of garbage from ChyNa. The 9 o’clock alarm starts ringing at 8:45. Returned.. Big Ben is spinning in his grave.

It TICKS (gently) ~ YAY!
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been searching for a ticking clock for the longest time and finally found one that has a gentle ticking sound. I LOVE this little clock and look forward to going to bed tonight to listen to it as it lulls me to sleep. Easily set up with one AA battery. It has an alarm as well however, I don’t plan on using it so I won’t comment about that. Also a little white button on the back to light up time if necessary.Definitely recommend this clock if you’re in search of one like this that’s not obnoxiously ticking but soothing.Sweet dreams 🥱

An excellent alarm clock.
This is a very nice clock that keeps time well and the ringer is the best. I enjoy the bright gold color and the clock overall is quite attractive. I tried different clocks and I have them all as of this day and none of them kept good time and the ringer was weak on each of them.
