I have used probably ten of these products, as at some point the elastic bands snap.The manufacturer is really good at providing replacement parts for the plastic parts that break - they are sent postage paid and for free.The screen folds down to be very small and unnoticeable. And the reflective powers keep the interior from getting really hot. It operates smoothly and is easy for me to use by myself (my car is not very wide).

Fits my F150 perfectly. Bought this one to replace one that broke after 8 years. Easy to install and durable. My wife uses the exact same model on her Acura TLX with similar results. No issues.

I originally purchased this same shade directly from the manufacturer many years ago for my vehicle. It lasted so long that I decided to buy a new one when one of the strings broke. I still own the same vehicle. I have changed my review, since I have had the new one for about 1 yr, one of the strings has broke already. I am very disappointed.Update: 8/27/21. I contacted Dash Designs directly. They were very helpful and quickly answered. I was able to get a replacement for my shade since it has a 2 year warranty. I love this shade. It is so easy and convenient to use.

Nothing to dislike about these screens. I have on my car and truck. Very effective in keeping temperature down inside car.

Hello! I have purchased 2 of these for my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I was disappointed that neither of them lasted more than a year. The top string that rewinds to take in the top of the shade always breaks. I was able to fix them both but the repair only lasted a couple of months. I will not be purchasing another one of these units. Whenthey worked, it was great, but bad material in the building causes it to fail, I feel, prematurely! Sincerely, RIckey Johnson

This is my initial review of the product from the South Central Valley of Cali.Install: I went with the 23 inch at the recommendation of the MFQ website for my 2015 Ford Fusion. Install is just some 3m sticky tape. Probably will be a pain to get off later. Take a dry erase marker, put the piece to your window where you want to install, and mark the top square. It's a bit tricky for the bottom bracket but I had a fine tip wet erase and got in there. I installed it as close to the dash as possible and that might have been a mistake. At the top of the window there is a good 4-5 in gap. This makes it easy to pull and fit behind the mirror but the guide says to pull it over the top of the mirror. I can see that being terrible too in my car. It would sag and still cause a 3-4 in gap.Material: Honestly, I don't feel it is very reflective or heavy duty. It feels like fabric and you can see through it. I don't see it lasting a whole season (if I don't rip it out beforehand due to not working for our 100 degree summer days). It really does retract easy though and the plastic feels really sturdy.Effectiveness: We just started to heat up so time will tell... I honestly don't feel like it will do much. Too much of a gap and not enough refletivness or heavy duty shade. Overall, good idea but probably not effective which is a damn shame.I will revise once the summer heat starts.
