works well to keep the dog secure when used in conjunction with a harness.
reviewed October 2023:Had this for a few months now, and for us, its a better solution than the restraint that clips into the seatbelt socket as its slightly shorter and works in any car because the seatbelt loops through it rather than clipping into the seatbelt socket. This does make it a little ore fiddly to use, but for us it is very manageable.Only use this with a harness, so there is less risk of injury if there was any accident or even hard braking, and the flexibility of threading a seatbelt thought it really does work well. It can be used if a human passenger is also using the seatbelt or not.The adjustment does slip over time. Might be as a result of the dog pulling, not sure. But again, its manageable and for the additional safety and peace of mind it gives.. well worth it.I will be buying a second one for the other car.

Uncomfortable
We use this with a harness for our miniature schnauzer .The material of the strap is rubberised. The cars seat belt goes through the loop on this strap.The problem is because of the rubber material the strap isn’t easy to move over the seat belt, it tends to fall to the lowest point of the car seat belt and is too short and pulls our dog downwards.I have yet to find a dog car seat belt that prevents my dog from falling off the seat during breaking but also allows a little movement.Update: I have been in touch with the seller and they have taken my review into consideration and they have provided satisfactory service, so I have upped my initial review to 3 stars as customer service of very good.
