This O-Ring fits perfectly and is easy to install in our Hayward Pool Chlorinator. It is reasonable compared to the prices at our local pool supply stores. Although, it does not say this in the instructions, we put silicone on the ring before installation to that it wouldn’t dry out.

Extend the life of your $129 MSRP Hayward CL220 chlorinator by changing your lid o-ring 1-2 times yearly.Once the lid gets really hard to tighten and loosen, change to this o-ring and use a knife and scrape the sticky residue off around the top area the lid screws onto that accumulates from o-ring lube and the chlorine pucks over time.
