13 Port USB 3.1 Hub: Working as described + great customer service
I reported some problems on the 10 port item of the same brand (an older model). The customer service was quick and very nice, they sent me a new product (13 ports) to try.The package is neat, solid and essential. Inside the box you find the USB hub, the power cable (the transformer + an electric cable) and two USB cables (usb-B --> usb-C and usb-b --> usb-C). The cables are about 50cm long, for my needs it was just right (as I positioned the unit close to my laptop), but keep this in mind in case you need a longer cable. At first glance the overall quality seems pretty good, the electric cables are good and the electric socket has an ergonomic shape for easy unplug. Below the usb hub there are two thin rubber stripes that guarantee a nice grip on smooth surfaces. The transformer has a green small light to indicate connection to electricity. Each USB port has its own switch and a blue light indicator (light is on when the switch is pressed/on). The blue light is not very bright, so in a very "sunny" office may be difficult to see, but you can always check the switch and the lights are just fine in dimmer (normal) light conditions.I connected via the hub to my macbook pro (maxOS 11.6) four hard disks, two solid states disks, one usb pen, an usb cable charging four AA batteries, and another usb cable charging my headphones. I performed several operations on the disks at the same time (running python programs, transferring files, visualising PDF files, etc). During these operations, I also removed some of the devices without experiencing connection problems. So far, everything seems pretty good and it works as described. I did not run any "serious" test (like speed tests with different type of files and usb devices), but for me it's a five stars.

Power For Your Devices
Well, I have a load of spare hard disks that I can now put to use because of this USB Hub. I have plugged in 13 of them and all of them work as they should. I have two SSD's and 11 HDD's of various makes and brands and all of them are recognised and work at the speeds they should. I get about 300mbps on the SSD's and 100Mbps on the HDD's. And they all sit there happily with no issues with power from the hub. None of my disk drives use external power - they all are powered rom the hub.I have had many under powered hubs before which caused all sorts of issues with my drives - I/O errors and drives dropping off and disappearing. But this hub does not. Highly recommended.

It does the job but it could be improved
I upgraded from a 7 port hub to this 13 port hub, and while it does a good job of providing me with 6 extra slots, it's more difficult to determine what is connected, and whether it is on or off, than I would have wanted. My other usb hub had a light around each slot, and a light beside each slot to indicate whether it was on or off. This hub has a button that is pressed in or out. No LEDs, which would have been better. After 3 weeks or so, the connection seems good, and I haven't had things randomly disconnecting, which is really important if you have external hard drives connected ( see my attached photo ) . I have a 12tb HDD, 2 x 4tb HDD, and a 2TB SDD, a music ketboard, 2 drum machines, a mouse, a pc keyboard and iLok usb dongle attached to this hub. I have had no power fluctuations or interruptions of any kind.I've had cheap flimsy hubs made of plastic before this, and this hub is a complete contrast to those. Wjen you take it out of the box, you're struck by the quality. It's heavy, and really solid and well constructed. If it had better indicators and switches, it would be perfect, and because of that, it regrettably loses a star. In all other respects, I'd highly recommend it.

Brilliant quality piece of kit
This hub is hooked up to my PC to replace a very old USB 2 hub I had. This 13 socket hub is really well made and is pretty heavy, so it's not going to move around much on my desktop. The individual On/Off buttons are manual switches which I really like as touch switches tend to fail over time. It's a great feature if you tend to leave everything plugged into the hub all of the time.Switching sockets that you don't need or want to use can be switched off without the need of disconnecting them. As far as I'm concerned, an excellent purchase!

Inferior product
Had this for just under 2 years when it failed. Their website says 2 year guarantee and they will reply to emails within 24 hours. That hasn't happened. As I use my high speed usb regularly I decided to read some reviews and bought a S-B----T as I was never really happy with this one anyway as it was very temperamental. Boy what a surprise when I put the S-B----T through it's paces. I really didn't know what i'd been missing insomuch as I had put up with varying slow speed and loss of connection which I had thought was down to the relatively newer USB technology. I WAS WRONG it was simply down to an inferior product and in some ways i'm glad this one failed because I now have a product that actually performs as it should. I would not recommend anyone buying this make!.UPDATE I must add that whilst I may not be happy with their product I can verify that their customer service is excellent as it appears that they were on holiday when I emailed them so I apologise for jumping the gun because I ulimately received a refund and considering there was just a couple of weeks to go on the 2 year guarantee this is indeed a company with first class customer service. Shame about the product!!

More than enough USB ports
This powered USB 3 multi port hub worked for me.Some devices have more power requirements than others and this is usually taken form the PC's onboard power. This does work in many cases but there it sometimes is necessary to have a USB hub that can help by providing its own power. When you want to have many ports this powered method is a good way to do this.At the time of writing I have had this for a few weeks and it works as expected for me.
