They work!
I have a 2007 scion that only came with one fob. The fob broke on me and I called the dealership and they wanted to charge me $375 for one replacement. After calling around and reading the reviews from the previous Amazon orders I decided to take a chance and order these key fobs. Before taking it to be keyed, I programmed it based on YouTube videos. After I programmed it, I took it to my local hardware store which in my location is an Ace Hardware. They charged me $2 per key to have keyed. They could not guarantee that those keys would work, but as soon as I went out to the car, I was ecstatic , both of the key fobs worked and I’m able to lock and unlock from the key fob with no issues. I am so happy for the previous reviews and thank each and everyone of you! I saved myself over $350.00.

It works!
My 2006 scion has a feature where you can program the key at home diy so I bought this key and I was skeptical but after completing the programming which consisted of opening and closing the drivers door and turning the ignition on and off in a specific sequence it worked! Now all I had to do was find a hardware store to cut the key which proved to be difficult no stores would cut a key that was purchased on the internet nor would the locksmith, i ended up buying a hardware store key which they would cut and attaching this fob to it. Not exactly ideal but in an emergency It works for a spare key. So do I recommend this product? Yes! compared to spending hundreds at the dealership this was a fantastic money saving alternative. Just be sure you can perform the programming procedure on your particular vehicle. I found a really good instructional video on Youtube and honestly I was surprised when it worked! Thank you Toyota for including this feature from the factory and thank you to the manufacturer of this product for saving me about 200 bucks!

Everything works except panic button
Everything works except the panic button😕. Read this whole review for helpful tips! The instructions on the website provided with this key to program it are a little confusing and only show u how to program the buttons to work, not how to program the key to start the car. So I found 2 videos on YouTube from the same YouTuber that shows how to program the key to start the car AND how to program it to unlock/lock the doors. However, with this key when I press the panic button it dose nothing... I'm not sure if I recieved a bad key or what. But everything else works. So i took 1 star off for that. I took another star off because the battery is already dying and ive only had it for a month! If I'm more than 10ft from the car it won't unlock/lock. When I 1st recieved it, about a month ago it would reach around 30ft if not more. Now for the helpful tips:1. Buy a new battery for it2. Search YouTube for the videos on how to program the key becuase it is much easier to understand how to do it when u watch someone else do it.3. To program this key: normally u would need it to be cut already. However I didn't want to get mine cut and than the key not work. Because once it's cut u cannot return it if it dose not work. So u will need the key that u use now that STARTS ur car. (I used the key i had without buttons. I think a key with buttons would still work tho) When ur following the instructions to program it and it says to insert the key ur programming and pull it out, u want to use the key ur programming. But when u get to the step where u have to insert the key and turn it to switch the ignition on, u will need to insert ur old key instead because the new uncut key will not turn in the ignition. BUT make sure u have the key ur programming right next to the key u stuck in the ignition. It has to be close to the computer inside the dash. I will attach a picture of the steps from thier website n point out where u want to insert ur old key instead of the key ur trying to program. Incase I'm not explaining myself clear enough. Hope this helps everyone!
