I was expecting a leaking milled brass toy lighter. Was wrong
I was expecting a leaky toy lighter and was going to solder the parts leaking. Instead I loaded with zippo clear fluid and in several days not a single iota of fluid has leaked. Not as efficient as a Zippo, but a beautiful conversation piece that will light your smokes. 5/5.I'd say this is great for DIY'r, in case you get one that doesn't strike as well as mine, or has a leak. Mine seems to have perfect seals. Will update if this changes.Don't forget to screw the wick cap down when not on use. It'll keep fluid from evaporating.

Replacement o-rings?
Gifted it to father-in-law and he loves it. Great for cigars.A lot of comments on the fluid leaking or high/engulfing flame. Due to its being vapor tight when everything is screwed shut, the vessel will build pressure from body heat in your pocket. This is especially true in hot climates or rooms. If you open ot you can actually hear it sometimes. Give it a few seconds while open to atmosphere before striking and we've addressed the issue.Did notice that if you tighten the fill plug too tight you can damage the seal, same with any of the other movable parts. Would like to get replacement seals and/or o-rings if possible. Manufacturer - if you see this let me know where to order please!

slow leak
very good craftmanship and feels heavy in your hand. the only small issue is to be careful how you store it, especially in your pocket. if its upside down for a long time the lighter fluid will start to slowly seep out the wick

This is a well built toy, I love it
Solid brass well machined, not junk. This is a cool thing to have laying around my desk

BEWARE THIS LEAKS AND CAN SET YOUR HAND A-FLAME
A very dangerous product should be taken off the site. There are a couple of other brands that looks just like that and they had said that they leaked but not I think to the extent of this model it’s a different brand, but it’s probably all made by a saying corporation in China, I would assume somewhere certainly not in the USA. I went ahead and tweaked the screws very carefully so it’s not to put too much pressure on the very very thin gasket that is there not to break the glass that protects the unit on both sides, but it does leak and I did work where gloves as I always do when I first test these lighters out and I’m glad I did because flame shot out all over the place and this was after I walked down with alcohol as I always do because a lot of times there’s a little spillage when you fill these units up and I let the alcohol dry on the surface dry it up with the paper towel have all the precautions And of course I don’t hold it too close to my face. I flipped it and almost the entire unit went on fire. I blew it out one good blow, but I always do it close to some water so I can drop the unit into water if there’s a problem and I’m glad I wore double nylon gloves on each hand so I would say stay away from the Product.

Really unique lighter.
It may be just a lighter but it’s really really cool looking! Very Steampunk plus it works great!

Beautiful lighter, but...
This thing is beautiful! Looks like a museum piece. Too bad it works like one too.Hard to light, you have to try several times. To make matters worse vapors leak out of the fire containment stack and sometimes ignite all the way down onto your hand. They don't burn long enough to burn me, but by the stack they do. The very small fire that is where it's supposed to be soon becomes a much larger one covering much of the top of the lighter. This one is going up on my display shelves in my office, I will just go buy a disposable to use for cigarettes.
