These packets are just the right size to avoid waste if you do not need shelf stable milk often. I keep lactose free milk in the house but can use small amounts of milk or cream in coffee without issues. Working a hybrid schedule, I am only in the office 3 days a week and make 2-4 cups a week. I detest the sweetened creamer that’s in our break room. The supermarket milk packets are usually nonfat and make a quart. The last time I purchased a tin of whole milk powder there was a note on the can to use within one month of opening. These are individually packaged to make 8oz per packet and taste better than shelf stable creamers and liquid milk in juice boxes! I use a small spoon and put it directly in my coffee. The BB date is over a year on the package I just received.

Quite good! I mostly got this to bring to the office - I've found that if I buy fresh milk, it has a tendency to disappear from the office fridge, so mixing this with some cold water worked out well. It did have a tendency to clump together more than I liked, so my solution was to use a thermos and shake it for 15-30 seconds. Using a stir stick didn't quite do the trick.I'd buy this again, though it's a little pricier than I'm comfortable with. Might just be worth buying some dry milk separately and using that instead.

Love these! Make 8 oz so it is just enough for a recipe or a couple of days of creamer when traveling without opening the big #10 can. Taste is decent for a powered milk too.

I bought this product to make occasional hot cocoas this winter. I was very surprised that it didn't dissolve well in hot water.When sense in the form of a Google search finally arrived, Hillbilly Housewife explained that the proteins in the milk powder can dissolve in cold water, not hot.And now, happily, no milk sludge at the bottom of every cup!!!

THe problem with this products is it is ground too fine, you would think a 'fine powder' would make is melt into the beverage getter, but it doesn't. It just congenels into lumps when ist touches a hot beverage. The inexpensive coarse powdered milk from your local supermarket will dissolved better and taste better because of that. I like the individual packets but it just not good for putting in host beverages

Tastes like milk that sat out just long enough that you're willing to drink the glass you poured, but not comfortable putting back in the fridge.I tried leaving it in the fridge overnight, and it wasn't any better. I figured this is meant to be added to other beverages anyways, so mixed in some Ovaltine. Now I know what chocolate flavored cheese tastes like. The taste of whey is way too strong.I love the concept, but this doesn't work for me. Maybe it will for you if you dont mind the cheesiness.

This was an excellent product. I have a family member who hiked over 2600 miles and love this product. Unfortunately what they’re caring now is a low-fat or nonfat product not a full fat milk product. It’s really unfortunate because I loved this product and I would’ve been happy to buy more.
