Solid little monitor with great build for the price
This worked perfectly as a second screen for my setup. The build quality is sturdier than I expected, and the refresh rate is smooth enough for light video or console use. The setup was quick and easy to use right out of the box. The viewing angle is wide and clear, making it easy to glance at without constantly adjusting the screen. I’ve moved it around quite a bit, and it’s held up well. Good durability for something this compact.

Works with 1080P
I needed something to test my HDMI cables and outputs. This fit the bill perfectly.

Absolutely Fantastic Screen, but Beware the Power Cord.
The monitor itself is surprisingly good. It's the type of thing that'd be right at home in a camera set-up. It is surprisingly good quality for its size, comes with a mount, and is in general versatile. Now, I don't know if this is just a quirk of HDMI cables, though the one it comes with keeps slipping out of the port on my computer at the slightest touch. That isn't much of a problem, though; I've found a way to secure it a bit better, and I've had zero other issues. What is a problem, and the only reason I didn't give the item five stars, is the power cord it comes with; this power cable is the worst thing I have ever had the displeasure of using. The product doesn't come with a usb-to-outlet adapter, and since I didn't have an extra one to use for it, I plugged it into one of my computer's usb ports. It worked well... until it stopped working, and I realized the USB port I had it plugged into was burnt out and rendered completely useless. So, I went out and bought a USB-to-outlet adapter to use instead. I was able to use the monitor again, and everything was fine... until the cord itself started to fall apart. The plastic housing around the USB end fell apart and seems to be held together entirely by friction, and the USB plug itself doesn't seem to be soldered too well to the board within, so it frequently wobbles and disconnects if gravity decides to pull on it a little too hard that day, or god forbid if something brushes up against the cord.Outside of the power cord, the monitor is awesome though. I'd wholeheartedly recommend it; just take a look around and see if you can find a higher quality cord to purchase along with it.Also, just be aware that it is possible to burn an image into the screen if you leave it on for too long / at too bright of a setting. I unfortunately managed to do this on day one, though this seems to be a general rule for any monitor you might use and the fault is entirely on me.

"Cheap" Monitor
Bought this as a "cheap" monitor to use with a home security system. I was blown away by the quality of the monitor for the price. Great buy. Perfect for my intended use. I would recommend this product.

This monitor has pros and cons
THE GOOD: This monitor has a nice look to it and picture quality is great. I tried it with a TV signal fed in on the AV, and also tried the HDMI port. Both deliver a sharp, good quality picture, with a wide viewing angle. The speaker is OK, and loud enough to watch TV comfortably at 3-4 feet. The sound is a little bit harsh, so I wouldn't use the internal speaker on an ongoing basis, although kids might not mind. And connectivity is good, with several ways to connect (HDMI, etc.).THE BAD: There's a lot of backlight bleeding around the edges of the screen, which is very obvious and distracting when the screen is black, or during a dark TV scene. The mounting screw holes are defective. The stand is assembled backwards. And, the instructions are nice looking, but almost useless, and actually wrong. I already have another monitor with the same exact stand, which is why I noticed that the stand is assembled backwards. The mounting screw holes are really bad. Two of the VESA mount holes work perfectly, but the other two have defective threads and I can't screw in the screws. SIDE NOTE: If you use the VESA mount, use short screws, or your screws will hit the circuit board. The mounting hole at the bottom of the unit is another interesting story. I think it's supposed to be 1/4"-20, the standard for US camera equipment. But no, it's sized and threaded for an M6 machine screw. An M6 screws into it properly, but a 1/4" does not go in at all, and that's because 1/4" = 6.35mm. Further, even though an M6 can screw into it, it's very crookedly threaded, so it would be useless even it was the correct 1/4". So, in general, all the mounting holes were made by someone with no skills for this.A funny feature of the instructions is that it says to screw the stand into the bottom mounting hole, but that's impossible because the stand screw is 1/4", so obviously can't go into the M6 hole. The stand is really intended to mate with the large slot on the back of the monitor, and it does this correctly.ANOTHER SIDE NOTE: The AV cable has yellow, white, and red connectors that at first look like video plus stereo audio. But no, yellow=AV1, white=AV2, red=audio, and it works fine.SUMMARY: I'm returning this monitor due to all the defects, but if you get one without those defects, it might work really well for you. It certainly has a nice picture, and video looks great on it, as long as it's a sunny scene and not a dark scene.
