Good quality for the price - perfect for Takoyaki
Wife bought this to make Takoyaki. I'm the one who has to clean up the mess afterwards, so design, materials, performance and ease of cleaning is what I value. This one exceeds my expectations. The non-stick coating on the trays is good quality and all components are easy to clean. Don't get me wrong, this is not a high end item, but it does the job well. For instance, there's no temperature control (just ON/OFF), therefore we have to cycle the power to avoid over cooking -- at least for Takoyaki. I like the 2 additional trays for making different food items, but have yet to try them.

BUY IT!!!
I absolutely love this machine! Not only can I make delicious takoyaki, but I also make little okonomiyaki using the omelette attachment. I also like making omelettes with that same attachment. There is only one heat setting, however, it heats up quite fast and doesn’t burn my food! ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!

Difficult to control temperature
I ordered this because I wanted any easy way to make pancakes. Once you figure it out, it is relatively easy to use. However my only issue is the temperature. I find that when it heats up, it gets so hot to the point of overcooking without cooking through. I have had to work through turning it on til it’s hot and then turning it off before putting in the pancake mix. Once I have one side browned, I flip the pancakes and then turn back on the heat. Therefore it takes some effort to cook with and not burn the things you are cooking. Otherwise it’s pretty decent. Easy to clean the pans, compact size that is easy to store.

Works, but Plastic Melts in Heat, Uneven Heating, Overall 3.5
So I got this mainly to make takoyaki, and the good thing about the pan is that your can make a lot all at once. They are a little small compared to traditional takoyaki, but it's acceptable for home. Now, here's where questionable product decisions were made. It includes takoyaki picks but they're made of... plastic. The pan reaches a high enough tempurate to melt the plastic; you have to "scoop" the takoyaki to turn them, and that requires them to touch the hot pan. After one use, there was already signs of melting on the tip. These simply aren't useable as they aren't heat-resistant. Chopsticks or tooth picks work better than having melted plastic in your dish. The other issue when making takoyaki, is that the pan heats unevenly. The element in the center doesn't reach the corners very well. Because it curves, only the edge closest to the element gets decent heat compared to the other ones. You have to watch closely to make sure the ones near the center don't burn before the ones in the corners set enough to move. It's a little annoying, but manageable by moving the takoyaki around.I haven't tested the other pans, but the heating issue would be the same, where the corners just won't get as hot as the center. Overall, it works, but if you don't care about how many takoyaki you make at once, I suggest looking for a different product.

Dissatisfied
Horrible. The plates don't sit right and constantly wobble and cleaning isn't as easy as advertised. Not happy with this product
