This little range finder not only automatically announces the hole but also gives distance for front, back and middle flag. All courses I’ve used it on has been pre loaded. Very precise as compared to a range finder. Easy to use. I love also how it measures the distance of your ball allowing you to get a better sense of club distances.

It helps a lot in getting the right accurate distance to the green and the pin of the hole in golf courses !You need to up date it’s data / internal memory link to be able to add the new golf courses which were not included when the equipment was manufactured . But it’s easy to up date using the update link of voice caddy web site .

I really do enjoy my voice caddie. Easy to use and always with you. I like the volume control which is loud enough for me to hear, but not loud enough to disturb others. I like the shot distance feature, it’s fun to know…sometimes, how far the ball travels. It really is nice to walk to your ball, press the button and know the shot distance to the middle of the green. Easy to charge with the USB charger cord. If there’s one thing that’s a little annoying is that at times, it doesn’t recognize the next hole. There’s a fix for it, but it hasn’t worked all the time. User error I think. I’m working on it. I do strongly recommend what I call the Cap Caddie FORE 👍

This is a fabulous little friend on the golf course, especially when it is cart path only and you don’t wish to drag the rangefinder along with 3-4 clubs. It’s very accurate and very easy to use. Battery life will last a full 18 holes with new problem. Voice clarity is great!

I have owned every type of golf GPS out there; the gun, the watch, the binoculars, etc. and each of those cost 2-3x more than this one (or more) and died after a couple/few years. This little guy has been by my side for many years and is by far my favorite. Do read the directions first and keep them handy as you learn to use this, and do charge with a wall plug and NOT with your computer and you should be happy. I am a 18-20 hcp and average about 3 rounds a week year-round and I truly only need to know the distance to the middle of green, although this one will also measure to front and back if you ask it to. It recognizes every course I have ever played in several states; it is accurate; and although it might have a couple of quirks, like you have to take it past the men's tee or it won't recognize the hole, it has never failed me. I lost my first purchase when I left my visor with this clipped on it in a restaurant in Canada several years ago and I recently purchased my third one (all this same model) as a spare because I do not want to be without it, ever. I have gifted it and recommended it to others and everybody that owns it loves it. I highly recommend it unless you need something that will tell you distance to a creek/tree/etc. in which case you will need to spend a lot more money.
