This is a nice elastic to make a protective sleeve for a medical device that must be worn on the arm. Easy to sew with regular Gutermann thread and a knit needle. Recommended!

Not real thick.
Not real thick as expected. It was supposed to be used for a belly band holster. It is comfortable elastic. I’m afraid after a few washings, it will not feel as tight.

The description says, "Flat elastic, extends in two directions, it doesn't narrow when stretched." that is untrue.It ONLY stretches along its length. It does Not stretch along its width. At all. Not even a little bit.It DOES narrow when stretched. Not a lot, but it definitely does.Why does Amazon permit sellers to lie?

The elastic itself is a good elastic how ever when i received the rolls they were each 3 inches short of 2 yards, which leaves me having to order more to finish my order that would have been covered had it been the correct length to begin with.
