HEAFTY, THE REAL MACOY
I am leaving on a significant birding trip where I'll be using both headlamp, flashlight and lazer pointer using these batteries for two weeks. Only just received two of these batteries, but they are hefty/weighty unlike many others that are lightweight. Over 46 grams of power. i antipate a positive response. If they don't perform i'll write a follow-up about that experience.

Good batteries
The product page states that these are replacement batteries for the Zhiyun-Tech Gimbal Crane. Nowhere on the product page or photos does it state that these are 18650 batteries, but it’s printed on each one (see my photo). They are the same rechargeable batteries that are used in many flashlights and other devices, so I suspect that any good quality protected 18650 batteries would work just fine in the Gimbal Cranes. They arrived with just over 50% charge. My charger brought one of them up to full quickly, but the other two stalled at 97% and I don’t know why (overcharge protection? or maybe it just takes a long time to pump that extra 3% in). I didn’t have time to pursue it, but will use them and recharge again and see how it goes. Anyway, there were no heat issues – the batteries were still at room temp after charging. Installed, they worked great and are running long. Hard for me to tell if or how much longer than my previous batteries. If your original batteries were less than 2600mAh, then these should give longer run time. The capacity seems a little low given that 3400mAh batteries are readily available and their extra capacity will last that much longer, but they would likely cost more. Still, these seem to be good batteries and with the over/under charge/current protection they should serve safely. I’m happy with them.

Power up your Crane Gimbal or any 18650 Supported Device with Kastar INR18650 Batteries
For the gist, please see the "Conclusion & TL;DR:" section below. As an avid user of various devices that rely on 18650 batteries, I was thrilled to try out the Kastar 3-Pack 3.7V 2600mAh Rechargeable Battery Replacement. However, it's important to note that the batteries I received are INR18650, also known as 18650. This detail is not mentioned in the product description, and the naming conventions for Crane Gimbals can be quite confusing. For example, while the Crane 2 takes 18650 batteries, the Crane V2 requires 26500 batteries. So, before making a purchase, make sure to double-check the battery type required by your specific device. Now, let's dive into the world of INR18650 batteries for a moment. The "INR" stands for "Li-NiMnCoO2," referring to the cathode material used in these batteries. The "I" signifies "Lithium-Ion," the "N" represents "Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide," and the "R" indicates the "Round" cell type. ** More info on that at the bottom if your the curious type.To evaluate the battery's performance, I conducted two Charge-Discharge-Charge cycles using my battery analyzing charger and set the profile to accommodate 2600mAh capacity batteries. All charging modes ended as each battery reached its advertised 2600mAh capacity. Curious to explore further, I adjusted the profile to 2800mAh and conducted an additional Charge-Discharge-Charge cycle. The results showed capacities at or just below 2800mAh. Surprisingly, my testing revealed that the advertised capacity of 2600mAh is not only legitimate but also understated, with the batteries performing at ~108% of their advertised capacities. What sets these batteries apart is their ability to strike a perfect balance between high capacity and high discharge rate. They excel at delivering high currents, making them a popular choice for power-hungry devices like gimbals and flashlights. Additionally, their lower internal resistance compared to other 18650 battery types allows them to maintain a higher voltage under load. This feature proves invaluable for devices that require both substantial power and extended battery life.Beyond their impressive performance, INR18650 batteries also prioritize safety when compared to other lithium-ion battery variants such as ICR. By utilizing a combination of nickel, manganese, and cobalt oxide in their cathodes, these batteries offer enhanced stability and a reduced risk of explosions or fires. In terms of lifespan, INR18650 batteries outshine their IMR counterparts. With higher capacity and energy density, they can hold more charge and deliver sustained power over time. Moreover, they generate less heat and experience minimal wear and tear during usage. Conclusion & TL;DR:Overall, I must say that the Kastar INR18650 batteries have left a lasting impression on me. While they may be slightly pricier than other 18650 options, their exceptional performance and safety features make them a worthwhile investment. So, whether you're looking to power up your Crane Gimbal or any other high-powered device that relies on 18650 batteries, I highly recommend giving these batteries a try. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!---Product: Kastar 3-Pack 3.7V 2600mAh Rechargeable Battery Replacement for Zhiyun-Tech Gimbal Crane V1 Crane 2 / Crane 2S / Crane 3S/ Crane 3S Pro/Crane 3SE, Crane 3 LAB, Z1 Evolution Gimbal (3-PACK)ASIN: B0B24MH5JF*** End of Review ***Below is some general information for those who fall in the "In case you didn't know" category of battery users as promised above. The naming convention of the cylindrical lithium battery cell is consistent with the IEC standard 60086-1 for cylindrical primary cells.** The three letters: **The first letter: "I" indicates Lithium ion with built-in. "L" indicates Lithium metal or Lithium alloy electrode. The second letter: "C" denotes Drill, "N" denotes Nickel, "M" denotes Manganese, and "V" denotes Vanadium (positive electrode material). The third letter: "R" means rounded.** The five-digit numbers: **The five-digit numbers on these types of cells are named based on their dimensions and shape in millimeters. In the case of an 18650 Li-Ion cell, it has a nominal diameter of 18mm and a nominal length of 65mm. The first two numbers "18" refer to the battery's nominal diameter in millimeters, the next two numbers "65" refer to the battery's nominal length in millimeters, and the last number "0" refers to the battery's shape, with "0" meaning round. Alternately, the last three digits can refer to the height in tenths of a millimeter. Many are also available with protection circuits that can increase their physical length; for example, an 18650 is around 65 mm long, but may be around 68 mm long with a protection circuit. The increased dimensions may mean the cell will no longer fit in battery compartments intended for cells without such circuitry.

2/3 batteries actually work
After a few months, one of the three batteries stoped charging. Ugh

These are the real deal.
One of my biggest pet peeves about buying batteries on the internet is that you can never tell whether you're being deceived about the specifications. These are not 2600 mAh batteries. They're 2900 mAh according to my charger. These are basically 18650 batteries because of their size. 18650 means that they're supposed to have an 18mm diameter and be 65 mm long. The body of the battery is 18.32mm x 65.78mm. The description says they're 67 mm long which is correct if you include the button. I knew that these were probably legitimate because of the weight in my hand vs. the fakes. The scale confirmed the weight was 46 grams. I've included pictures of all the measurements, including a weight comparison with a 3400 mAh 18650 ULTRALAST battery. 2 of the ULTRALAST batteries set me back 34 USD. 3 of these batteries are only 24 USD. They're a better value per mAh at the advertised price. I plan to buy more. There was one strange thing about the packaging that I should mention. When I opened the package, I thought I got a wrong item since there were 3 boxes that smelled like soap and the boxes were about the size of hotel hand soap bars. I shrugged it off as a mishap in handling.

The work as advertised
I used these in my Weebil Gimbal and the fit and work well. The batteries are made to look like the original ones that came with the gimbal, but they are slightly different. They appear to be slightly longer than the original, but still fit. Also, the OEM batteries at rated at 2600mAh. 3.6V, 9.36Wh, where as these are 2600mAh 3.7V, 9.62WH. I don't believe that's an issue, but I haven't made a determination if it could eventually become an issue after long uses. If I find out, I'll edit this review.
