Lightweight, bright light, long battery life
I am a diver and an underwater photographer. I have tried the light on two dives so far. It is bright and allows me to see a clear view of the reef and the animals I want to photograph. So far, I have only used it in my hand, but next I will mount it and try it as a focus light on my camera rig. It has a clear, bright beam, it lasted through two dives so far and I have not had to recharge it yet. My dives average three hours each, so this is an important factor. It made the dive more fun to have this excellent light's illumination, especially as the natural light faded towards the end of my dive. I would definitely recommend this light. It even comes with an optional ball mount to mount on a camera or wrist.

Great underwater flashlight with snoot
This flashlight is smaller than I expected. The build quality is much superior versus some no name brand flashlights I have and seems like it will last longer but time will tell. There are so many accessories provided! The 1 inch ball mount will be perfect for me to mount this flashlight on my underwater housing. Spare o rings, spare rubber grip, lanyard and TWO batteries! The light output is impressive with no hotspots, perfect for a video light. I can’t wait to use it underwater with the snoot and report back after I dive with it. But I have attached pictures I took on land to demonstrate what snoots can do to emphasize the subject and make the distracting background disappear. Often in underwater photography, a “busy” background can ruin a picture. I think this will make a killer focus light with its long runtime.Negatives - For me, the instructions were not very clear. The safety mechanism to prevent accidentally turning on the light was different than my other flashlights so I had a hard time figuring it out but after seeing a video review (and re reading the instructions), it is all was good.Nowhere in the instructions does it mention the battery can be charged directly with the usb cable provided. I have never had a 18650 battery that had a built in usb charging slot so I was confused when I saw the “hole” in the battery and a provided usb cable. Although it is a cool idea, I will trust my high quality dedicated 18650 charger. But cool to have a backup way to charge the batteries.I will report back when I take this flashlight underwater but my initial impression is that this is a great flashlight!!!

Excellent Product
I wanted a video light to use with my underwater camera. The internal flash is located on the left side of the camera, and quite often I get shadows to the right of the subject. So the idea was to turn it on, take the picture, and turn it back off. That was the intention, and it worked very well for that use. However, to my surprise, it turns out to be a formidable dive light for general purpose as well, thanks to its incredible battery life. I started to use more and more, just waiting for the time it would run out of battery. For 100~120 min dives, it stays on all the time. Now I don't really need a spotlight anymore, since the video light is less aggressive on marine critters.Regarding the light, the wide-angle beam provides smooth illumination throughout the entire photographed area which is great for UW Photography. No shadows, no hotspots, just constant light. The ball mount works very well, but I chose a different one that allow for a better positioning of the video light. Just personal preference. Battery is rechargeable through a USB cable, without the need of bulky and potentially hazardous battery chargers. It also comes with extra o-rings, but with a bit of silicon grease every once in a while on the thread I expect them to last a long time (I'd think it's worth it to check for signs of wear though, and replace the o-rings as needed). One last comment: all the use this far has been on daylight dives, which only stresses how good this video light is.I highly recommend the product.

Compact Video Light with Good Color and battery life
The media could not be loaded. The D530V has good color and a wide beam without any hot spots. It did a good job of bringing out the natural colors in my video. Its durable, 1/5th the price of other lights and bright enough for all my shots. I attached the light to my gopro tray and 1 works well but I'm going to add a second one to help eliminate shadows. I've had my last orcatorch light 3 years and its still strong so I expect this light to last a long time too.

revision
I purchased this light and then the snoot. The issue is the threads on the front of the flashlight no longer work to hold the snoot in place, it just falls off easily. Very frustrating.Edit, I am expecting a replacement, and will update the review later

Nice soft video light that doesn't scare off animals
The media could not be loaded. Sea Horse filmed with my old GoPro 4 and I used Orcatorch D530V dive video light. This light has wide beam and is soft without any hotspot in the middle which is perfect to illuminate the object evenly. My other dive lights have narrow beam which blinds my old camera (and animals). My GoPro doesn't film well in the dark but I think it did pretty well with this torch.

Bought in May - died in September
I really thought I had found the perfect u/w camera light. Bright, One battery. Light weight......Got up to go diving this morning, inserted the fresh battery, turned on - light flickered and is dead. Tried the second charged battery - still no go. My 30 dollar lights lasted longer than this ,,,,,,,
