Common sense mostly, feels very outdated. There are also many grammar issues and some typos that makes the writing disjointed. Very short as well. I would recommend finding a different book on classroom management.

A Middle School Teacher Necessity
As a former high school teacher and professor, middle school classroom management was not in my wheelhouse. I knew once I started reading the book what I was doing wrong. Most importantly, I learned how to remedy my wrongful thinking. It is a great book, and I highly recommend it for a new or seasoned teacher.

Typos in a book on teaching.
I ordered this book to help get rid of some anxiety and get some new ideas to use in my classroom, but found a typo on page 8. I hope it is the only typo that I find.

Okay if you can get past the typos
I bought this hoping for some sound advice on teaching middle schoolers. However, what I received was a book that has quite a few typos and very basic advice for any grade. Don’t get me wrong, the advice is good but I feel like it was very generic.
