Worked well in a building cavity
Our wasps had made their way inside a cavity in the woodwork on an ancient conservatory extension - so the big ladder had to be deployed and some plant surgery was needed to get a clear shot at the entrance.I read the instructions twice, prepared the field of battle, and went up the ladder dressed in a Wurzel Gummidge version of a bee-keeper's outfit, complete with improvised veil (fine mesh net curtain) draped over a hat, then put my kagoule hood over the top to hold it there. Was not sure how the wasps would react to foam - they have been less than welcoming when deep nests in a grassy bank near the house have had to be dealt with using petrol or kerosene, so I was taking no chances. Can't run like I used to....!So up the ladder at dusk to foam the entrance to the nest, and it all went well. Thick foam over the entrance, and the wasps were seemingly not interested in me, allowing time to descend the ladder safely.Next day they seemed poorly and activity was reduced - so we did it again that evening. Quieter still the next day, so we were gaining on them, albeit slowly. We knew which interior panel they were behind, so against my wife's advice I opened a tiny hole to fit the foam nozzle, and put a 2-second burst in there, then plugged it quick-smart. Noisy wasps! In the morning we could hardly hear anything inside the cavity and no wasp activity outside - another short burst through the hole was administered, and the plug restored.Next evening all was silent as the grave - but we put another burst in to be sure. Three days later, still silent, no activity.Success!So... this might also be made to work inside a brick cavity wall - with a long thin drill and some care. A lot depends on the situation. Our opinion is that daily foaming of the nest entrance would have done the job eventually, but would have needed at least another can of foam. It was working, just more slowly than the direct method. The foam nozzle is small, and only needs a small hole to squirt through - a suitable bit of tube to extend the shortish nozzle is handy for getting it in more easily and preventing the foam from escaping.Recommended for nests that are accessible by squirting &/or drilling.PS we had a go at yet another nest with Westland Eraza Wasp Nest Destroyer Spray (Aerosol), with less than wonderful results, detailed in a review.

Effective if……
I purchased two of these cans and can say they are effective and fast acting and can be used from a distance of about 3ftThe only caveat is that it really needs direct contact with the nest to be effective - unfortunately that n my case the nest was underneath the roof eaves and down inside the wall and I was unable to reach the nest.If there was an open nest I would purchase this again

Fast working on a stubborn nest
I had a massive, persistent, wasp nest under a patio slab which was causing damage to the foundations underneath. Previously I used a foam treatment (different brand) which did nothing at all except kill a few of the wasps floating about. I used this treatment around 6pm last night when the nest was settling for the night and within 20 mins wasp activity had totally stopped. When the foam fully subsided, I gave it another spray for good luck. This morning there are absolutely zero wasps flying around and the nest looks completely inactive. The spray has a pretty good jet on it and allows you to stand well back when laying the foam, but the wasps will all start to fly about when the foam hits so make sure you have an access route away from the nest without having to move toward it.

Sort of effective, but.
Daughter had an enclosed wasps nest in a space in the porch. This stuff comes out like shaving foam, it stays awhile but then goes. I've used a couple of cans and the enemy are not doing well but are still about. I'd go for a different solution if the best is concealed

Buzz off
I was really impressed with how far the spray reached. It also made quick work of any wasps it came in contact with, unfortunately it was a nest inside of eaves I was dealing with and I could not get close enough to spray the contents into the opening to finish the job. In

Useless
Used a whole aerosol on a nest in my loft. It killed a few wasps but made no real difference. Tried again a week later with another whole aerosol, but again made little difference. Finally tried the Karlsten wasp killer spray and it worked a treat.
