If you're buying this for ornamental reasons it definitely looks cool! However using it for drinking anything is a bit hard when the inside smells like dead stuff! I've tried giving it a good wash and scrub the inside with a brush and washing up liquid but it still is humming! Any tips for removing this smell?

Lovely little cup. Genuinely made of buffalo horn. Smells a bit every now and then, due to material it's made of, but easily rectified with hot soapy tap water (not boiling water).

Smelt a bit funny and doubted whether it was safe to drink from, but made a couple of cool ornaments!

I love it, Possibly one of my best spontaneous purchases. Bit of advise for anyone buying it, make sure you rinse it out a good few times with soapy water and hot water. I made the mistake of doing it and had a funny taste with my beer.That being said, this didn't reflect in my overall review as of how well made and sturdy it is.

For how much it cost it's not a bad little cup, but saying that. It only lasted me a week before it started leaking. Now it's a nice little ornament sitting on my fireplace. I'd say if you want a drinking horn, save your money and buy a decent one that isn't going to leak. You get what you pay for 🤷

Smells horrible and will taint anything you put inside it. This is a horrible buy please look elsewhere for a genuine horn glass.

This is a conversation starter for sure, but beyond that it is an authentic way to drink mead. It is sure to bring out your inner viking without pillaging your wallet.
