Very good taste, good quality, great for use in truffle butter, pasta sauces, cauliflower cheese etc. Though it seemsl expensive the full flavour means a small amount goes far.

This truffle is amazing, I've been buying this along with the oik for some time now. The texture is lovely and it smells yummy. It's great in pasta dishes. It's part of my daily food cupboard now, I wouldn't be without it

We use this to make truffle mash potatoes every Thanksgiving. most popular dish after the turkey. They sell some that is a mix so be sure to get the right one.

Excellent truffle paste. Full of flavour, so the aroma when opening the pot is irresistible and it tastes heavenly. Very well presented and packaged with care. This s a premium product.I usually either use the paste in a pasta with some butter and mascarpone or in a truffle risotto. And garnish the creation with a few truffle slices. But it can be used in a very versatile manner, on pizzas, salads or omelettes for example.In the past I was forced to go to specialty shops for my supply of truffles sand truffle paste. I’m amazed and excited about how many of such harder to find food ingredients are offered on Amazon by quality, I suppose often local, producers.Of course, truffels and truffle paste never come cheap. But it is a vital ingredient in several of my vegetarian pasta dishes that the family loves (and loves me for). Most of these are plain, yet full of flavour and straightforward to make. As these do not contain expensive meat, I’m more than happy to pay up for the truffle paste. I typically use half a pot of the paste in a pasta or risotto and store the remaining part in the freezer.Have reordered several times.

I am honestly shocked for the quality of this product. I am a truffle fan, and was planning on cooking a dish with it therefore purchase this. However, I haven’t often been this disappointed at the quality of something. The upper part of my pate seemed to be burned and all in all this has no truffle flavour/quality whatsoever. It’s just very grainy and frankly awful. I had to chuck mine or it would have ruined what I was cooking. Given I have previously been fine with purchasing truffle dust for 10 pounds to enhance some dishes, I am astonished at the quality of this product that at this price.

I use the product when cooking anything that I consider requires a truffle flavour. I first discovered it at Homesense then searched the web to find it again. Amazon came up and I have been purchasing it from them ever since.

A very economical way to buy a good quality product. Very tasty and comparable to fresh truffles. Delicious on scrambled eggs, to make a store bought pizza something really special, and add to cheese fondue to make a wonderful supper. One of the best truffles in a jar I've ever tried - and I've tried plenty. Keeps in the fridge for a month, if I can resist it.

I've bought this quite a few times.On a positive note, this truffle is delicious.My most recent purchase (9th October), there was a LOT of oil and not very much truffle. The time before, like someone else has mentioned, it grew spores or went mouldy within less than a week. I thought that was just a fluke.This product used to be fantastic and the jars used to be crammed with minced truffle but I guess, like most food supplies, they are looking for ways to save costs (and they do this by increasing the price and reducing the amount of product you get ).
