Very well made EDC
Sharp out of the box. Really smooth action and feels very sturdy. Nice handle, enough room for a firm grip, doesn't slip. Very functional drop point blade, very handsome knife. All materials, fit, action seem top notch. For about $50--you can't go wrong. I find it very useful around the house and yard

CJRB Delivers a Winner
CJRB delivers a lot of EDC knife for the money. The Pyrite is certainly no exception. This model delivers value for the cost delivering good fit and finish for the budget minded shopper. Factory edge is sharp and the action is just what you would expect. A good knife for us "Mere Mortals" and one that has become iconic since its release.

Button-lock didn't work properly
Loved the blade, ergonomics, shape, etc., but the knife was tight. When I depressed the button-lock mechanism the blade would not fall all the way back down closed within the handle. I returned it rather than messing it up by attempting to loosen the screws.

The Luigi. The All-rounder. The Do-It-All. Jack of All Trades.
If you're thinking about this knife. Do it. At this price point you WILL NOT find a better knife. From the leaf blade shape, to the button lock, to the steel handle, everything feels solid. I own a lot of higher end knives (see picture). I play with this one the most. I use it the most because it's so damn inexpensive. I have a great time using it too because of that. Everyone's different with their knives, but I hate scraping packaging gunk off my Demko's or my Microtech's. This puppy is my go to for everything. Will be buying the Large version, since I just found out they make one!

Attractive and Sturdy
Sharp! Rugged and yet refined. First CRJB and the only drawback is that the button lock is a bit clicky compared to Civivi. They have a different engineering. Very positive link up just a different design.

I Love This Thing
The blade is incredibly sharp brand new, holds an edge very well, easily cleaned, and is comfortable to hold.Even when out through a few tough situations, the blade stayed sharp. After a few passes on a wet stone and even more on a strop, I was able to get the blade so sharp, I literally sliced my finger print off and didn’t even realize until I felt the blood…When a knife blade can get that sharp without an issue, I am a life long fan.So be careful with it, don’t hurt yourself. I definitely would recommend this knife to anyone who needs a new one for their EDC.
