These are a lot more versatile than the spikes type I bought. With the metal pikes, you can arrange them in two different orientations.I used mine to keep birds from perching on my front porch ceiling light. I used a heat gun to give it more flex to mount onto the circular light fixture.No longer do I have birds zooming in or out from my entry way or leaving bird mess. There was another area where they would build a nest on and put a strip there. This has been a great Spring and zero messes from birds!

I cannot understand the bad reviews. Squirrels were sitting on the windowsill eying my squirrel-proof birdfeeder and driving my cat crazy, to the point where she almost went through the screen. I did not want to glue them to the concrete, so they’re just resting on the windowsill and on top of the window AC in the window next to it. They have not fallen off or blown off, and I have not seen a squirrel since putting them out. They are by no means flimsy and they bend only enough to be adaptable. They are by no means soft or dull. The plastic spikes are quite hard, to the point where I have to be careful picking them up because they hurt my hand. I think they’re a bargain for the good result.

I purchased this spikes as an alternative for the invasion of birds- I can not return them becauae I already installed them- but they dont work as you can see the pictures- Birds walk on top of the spikes laughing at me- the spikes are not cheap and dont work- so dont buy them

I bought them to keep critters out of my flower box, but had to cut them to fit. It worked to a certain extent, but just was a pain to install.

My baby's, I have 3 that. We'll climb to the top of A Closet door and eat the paint. Well these spikes are preventing them from doing that.. They may not look pleasant but they work. Thank you sincerely, Manny

Purchased these as squirrel deterrents along our deck railing. Very regrettably I neglected to pay attention to the area one package would cover and we have a long railing. I was seriously shocked when I saw how little area this covered!! For the price of this- given it’s just cheap plastic- one would think that there would be ample material for quite a bit of coverage- but it doesn’t. So, the price of these is just plain crazy for what you get. Unfortunately- for these any real effect you would have to buy MANY packages- a dozen or so would be required for us to just cover the top of our deck railing and would cost well over $100. That’s just stupid expensive for what these are. I will be making my own with plywood and nails. We will spend about $15.00 and have enough made in less than an hour to suffice. Need less to say- I do NOT recommend this product unless you are into blowing money on cheap Chinese plastic. Make your own for 1/20th of the price!

I had a problem with small birds finding a way into my overhead patio light and each time I removed the nest, they’d be back in 24 hours with newly built home. One six-inch piece did the trick. Now the light is actually lighting the patio!

birds do not like the spikes, working fine
