A must have for electricians.
I run NMB, RG6, and low voltage cabling so much faster! I would say that this tool increases efficiency by 300%. It fits in places where I could never swing a hammer previously. At only 3¢ per staple, this thing pays for itself after two jobs. I have had a few jams, but only because I kept the staple clips in my pocket and they were warped before loading.

Must have for home wiring jobs
Sometimes a professional tool is warranted even if you're just a homeowner or d-i-yer. I don't know how many times I've cursed a project when stapling Romex over the years. Faced with a workshop build out and finishing a basement, I decided I wasn't going to keep fiddling with staples & a hammer trying to get Romex fastened to rafters and studs. Without fail I'll mash my thumb with a hammer or get the staples canted as one leg seats properly and the other tilts, walks or otherwise goes cattywhompus. This stapler made the job 1000X easier. Place the Romex straddle it with the stapler and pull the trigger. No more misdirected hammer swings, mashing thumbs or wires or misaligned staples. It can even handle stacked Romex. Yeah, it's not cheap but it's saved me more than enough frustration to make it worth the price.

Excellent!
I am an electrician but do very little residential work. I always used nail in straps the few time I did use romex. They, as we all know, are pretty miserable to use. I bought a Romex staple gun years ago (I forget the brand) and it worked okay. They quit making the staples though. Then, I bought the GB Cable Boss gun. It never worked properly. 2-3-4 tries before I even would get it to fire a staple. I saw Milwaukee had this stapler but put off buying it because I didn't want to spend the money for something I wouldn't use all the time. I suffered with the Cable Boss as long as I could stand to.I finally broke down and ordered this Milwaukee stapler and man, it is well worth it. It just plain works. No drama, no misfires, no problems. I even ordered generic Cable staples, and it still works flawlessly. If you do even a moderate amount of residential work and use romex, this is a must have tool and you will be so thankful you bought it. If you're like me, and will not use it a lot, it's still worth it.I highly recommend it!

Huge time saver
This stapler is great for many reasons. It is lightweight, compact for tight stud bays, it doesn't pinch the cable regardless of the number of cables under the staple, its durable (I've dropped it off a 10' ladder) and it consumes very little battery. However, the best thing about this stapler is the time it saves. It shoots the staples at the same speed as a nail gun/brad nailer, so securing cable runs takes no time at all! It's really sped up my projects.
