Q: I have my system set up but there is a noticeable rubber taste to the carbonated water. How do I get rid of that flavor?

Same thing happened to me - it seems to be the gasket used on the large bottle side is not made for CO2, I've heard anecdotal evidence of people fixing that with a CO2-specific gasket. I replaced my 10lb tank (it was already food grade), made sure the water was tasteless and the bottles were clean... the pipe was the culprit! Notice they don't claim Food Grade anywhere in the description, or specify what material the gasket(s) are made of (needs to be polypropylene or another CO2 compatible material)

Q: The soda water tastes rubbery. What can I do about that?

Dear Sir, or madam, The inside of the hose of our product is molded by the temperature of melting point. If there is a peculiar smell, just ventilate the pipe. Of course, you can clean the inner pipe with baking soda water, and then ventilate and dry it. This hose is safe, just like a new plastic cup, it needs to be ventilated. Best regards SHUNZHI DIRECT

Q: After about a year the tr21-4 leaks co2 through the center pin when the valve is opened up, does that mean i need a new tr21-4?

The spring inside of it gets loose overtime and doesn't completely seal the valve anymore. So Co2 leaks through the nozzle as soon as you connect the tank. Take the TR21-4 piece apart. The fitting is very tight so you'll need some strength. Inside of it, you'll see a small valve thing and a spring. You need to stretch the spring and reassemble it. Test: if you blow thru the back of the piece, air shouldn't escape on the other side. This is a quick solution Not sure yet how long it'll last but it works for now. Hope this helps someone.

Q: What is the Thread of the fittings on the Tube End, near the yellow rings?

It is CGA320/G1/2-14 adapter. This system allows you to connect your Soda-Club / Sodastream Machine to an external Non-Siphon CO2 Tank that has a CGA-320 Outlet Valve, like 5lb, 20LB or 50lb commercial CO2 tanks.
