I was going to use Easy Off to clean my oven, then I saw this hack on cleaning your oven with ammonia. I put a bowl of ammonia on the highest rack in oven, even though it also said don’t leave your racks in oven when doing this??? I left it in overnite and magic. I opened oven door and had to close it right away because the ammonia smell was Overpowering! I opened the door and pulled out the bowl and shut it quickly and after an hour or so, it didn’t smell. But I just wiped with a damp towel and voila - clean. No hard scrubbing. Worked like magic

Many years ago, I was a dry cleaner and was taught the procedure for removing various types of stains prior to cleaning. For stains from the body (blood, feces, vomit) the best spotting agent is ammonia—it breaks down the chemical composition of these stains. For this reason, sudsy ammonia is the perfect choice for sink, toilet, and bathtub. You can also use it to removes body stains from clothing. Suppose you get a few drops of blood on your shirt. If the stain is fresh apply cold water and a small amount of Ammonia. Massage it with fingers or the edge of a spoon and you will see it break down. Rinse with cold water and you’re done. If the stain is not fresh, treat it with a bit of ammonia, let it rest for 5 minutes and throw it in the washing machine.
