I recently bought a bunch of "304 stainless steel" parts for a custom clothes line and of all these "304 SS" parts, this was the only one that wasn't magnetic. That gives me a good feeling that this is made from real 304 material, unlike a lot of the hardware being sold as 304 SS. 304 can be slightly magnetic due to forming but it definitely shouldn't be highly magnetic. Despite forming of the "eye", I didn't notice any magnetic qualities. I'm looking forward to having these stay rust free. The threads appear to be nicely formed/cut.

Very convenient. I used it to put up a clothesline.M6 means that the outside diameter of the threads is 6 mm, around 1/4 inch. The inner diameter of the eye is about 3/4 inch, and the outer diameter is 1 1/8 inches.If you are putting the screw eye into something soft like pine, and are able to press hard, there is no need to drill a pilot hole. You can start it by hand and then use a screwdriver, or anything long that fits through the eye, to tighten it after you get it started.

2.5 inch was true to size. Much cheaper than big box store and big box did not have the size I wanted. Lightly attracts magnet. Time in salt water will tell but looks like a very good value.

This saved me a few dollars. It was a lot cheaper than The Home Depot. I used them to hang lights in my garage. Happy with the purchase.

The hooks are well made, no burrs like you might find on similar hooks. The threads are deburred as well. The photo shows the size of the hook in someone's hand. The hands are probably those of an 8 year old because the hooks are much smaller than I expected. They will serve my purpose but a larger hook is what I wanted.

They are screw eyes. They screwed in fine and eye has held hanger with no problems.

Not a lot to say. They are stainless screw eyes and seem well made.
