IronMan Olympic bumper plates have a standard 45cm diameter across the complete weight range and are made from environmentally friendly cast iron that is coated with a thick durable hard rubber to protect flooring making them ideal for crossfitters and others who are constantly pushing their limits & PB's. Bumper plates are designed to be dropped from significant heights, the rubber helps to absorb the shock when the bar is dropped. And because the weight plates are all the same size, they can share the impact as well as balance the weight load when resting on the floor. NOTE care must be taken with lighter weights to reduce the risk of them tacoing. The 86 inch barbell is a standard-sized Olympic barbell with a bar diameter of 51mm to fit the standard sized Olympic plates with a hole diameter of 52mm so you can use this Olympic weight set with any other Olympic barbells or weight plates that you may have and they will all fit together.
