Excellent Matte PLA !!! A must have
One of the best matte filaments iv used. The esun matte pla are excellent. Super clean finish on print. Perfectly wound spool and nice coated edges on spool to stop cardboard coming off in my AMS.

No printing issues and colour/texture as expected
I used this filament inside of my Bambu Labs AMS to print components for a Honeycomb Storage Wall. Although I've heard others having issues with cardboard spools inside the AMS, I've had no such issues with this spool. No tangles or issues while printing and the finished print did have a nice matte finish and texture to it in which I did like.I paid £13.99 for a 1Kg spool and would absolutely recommend the Matte Tangerine Orange for that price.

Great filament, but keep it very dry
This was the first reel of filament I ever used, so like many I made every mistake you can make with it...However, once I got over the initial learning curve and dialled in all the right settings for my printer, this filament worked brilliantly. It's super cheap so great for printing prototypes while you figure out how to finalise your model, but equally will print really well with finer details when you're ready. One thing I have noticed with this filament is it seems very susceptible to hygroscopy (absorbing moisture from the air). All PLA filament is vulnerable to this so it's not a problem with this specific filament, but this is the only one in the handful I now use regularly where I have seen extreme stringing and poor layer adhesion as a result, so do be extra careful to keep it dry (I keep it in the bag it came in, sealed with tape, with a silica gel pack inside - seems to be working OK).The good news is, if you do have this issue it's fairly easy to resolve with a dryer box - these are active electronic boxes you drop your filament in for a few hours and they suck all of moisture back out of it, returning to perfectly usable filament again. I purchased the eSUN box Lite for this as it was really cheap and I wasn't sure how effective it would be - I was very impressed with the results!

Matte Black hides layer lines perfectly.
At this price (13 pounds) The filament is crazy good, just what I want from a matte pla. I saw other comments as on their filament ithad some impurities as white dust particles. I also have that in my spool however i didn't see on the part that I have printed. The matte color really hides the layer lines. There is a very small stringing problem but it doesn't affect the final output. Overall I am very happy.

Works. Cheap. Nice finish
Using on a bambu a1 with the standard esun pla+ profile. It works well. I finished off a bambu black PLA and just switched to this, was impressed at how Matt the finish was in comparison.Spool seems well wound so far, but I'm less than halfway in. We will see what the very end of filament is like. Seems to be printing just fine

Terrible quality and failing prints
I have been using this filament brand for many years and never had a problem. Recently I have had endless problems with prints made using eSun filament failing. The issue is not the printer as other brands/types of filament print perfectly. I believe the issue is that something has happened during storage and the filaments are being ruined by humidity. Normally drying the spools would solve the problem, but my recent purchases seem to be beyond saving. After drying, the filament comes out with a powdery white substance on it as though the ingredients (or perhaps water?) is leaking out and then drying up on the surface. After printing, items are terrible quality, incredibly brittle and break with only a little force. It is a nightmare and I am currently trying to find new suppliers as I can't afford to keep buying kilos of product only for it to go to waste.
