BRILLIANT READ.
This novel is the first i have read by this author. But, I will definitely be reading Agent 18.I was sceptical when I started reading, but i easily got into the flow of the book. I kept imagining it was a Guy Ritchie film with the main character talking you through his inner thoughts and his plans.Story is full of twists and turns. ( only some are predictable)I throughly enjoyed this read.

A lot of boom for your buck
4.25 starsExcellent thriller that races along at the speed of light. Assassins forced to confront one another and the consequences. Lots of decent black humour and even more action. Thoroughly enjoyable and looking forward to the next one.

Starts well, becomes dull and unbelievable
The early pages (i.e. the free sample) are good, with much talk of secret agents (trade craft) and mystery. Then it becomes evident the main character is simply an elite hitman. And then rolls on to an ever escalating (and ever more unbelievable) attempts to kill’a particular target. No surprise to read that the author is primarily a writer of screenplays, given the basic writing style. At the 99 pence that I paid, this was an acceptable read, but instantly forgettable. And certainly not worth any more than that.

Well Written and a good read
If you like Orphan X, John Puller and Reacher you will enjoy this book. A good character, good storyline and very well written – no overuse of adjectives and unnecessary descriptions – just what’s pertinent to the story. Of course, there is a romantic element but it’s not overemotional or slushy and is part of a good plot. The violence is written as needed for the situation without being too gory or excessive. I am looking forward to his next book

Enjoying read
Fast paced action read with an interesting storyline. Nice touch using real places. Improved my geographical knowledge of out of the way places in the US.

Gray Man you have company
i was getting weary of all the hyperbole comments you read on the front and flap of a book. Well this time it was all true. It took me a few pages to get used to the style and the awkward beginning, but then brothers and sisters i was hooked, and i mean hooked. I read and have read a massive amount of books and more than often stacked them in the waste paper bin. This one, i read in one go and with reason. It had everything the Gray Man and Victor (my favorits) have. The story is not as complex and global as the Gray Man, but just as exciting. He is a sociopath like Victor, but with a conscience and human feelings. Try finding those in Victor. As for the critics i read, yes the story is unbelievable and written as a screenplay. Well we all know Batman and Wakanda are real, what's wrong with a good screenplay. If i see what i've bought the last months, i crave a 'good' action movie, Cocaine Bear or John Wick 4 anybody. I for one am making space on my shelves for this book and any other book this man writes.
