Novelty Beanie
The helmet does say DOT but ain’t no way. Made out of plastic. Helmet weighed 1 pound after removing useless chin guard and metal rings as it has a quick connect clasp. It will serve the purpose for which I bought it which is a small lightweight helmet to only be worn states that have a helmet law when traveling cross country

Don’t buy!
Do not buy this if you are not 100% on size and fit! Site states free returns. However, my husband bought this and it does not fit. So we applied for a return/refund. When we got the return label, it says postage due and we are supposed to return it to China! It will cost more to return it than it did to purchase it! We are NOT happy.

Not a dot helmet
It did not fit even though I ordered the correct size and is is sold as a dot approved helmet there is no way this thing is dot approved. Has a cool look if it was built to fit

Very cheap design
This is not a helmet you want to wear on the road. The clasps are really thin plastic. I don't recommend buying this for motorcyle use. I would only recommend it for a bicycle for a little extra protection
