Great for kids and adults

We bought this to work with our child during summer break. Kids tend to loose the curriculum they learn during the summer, and we assign them/work with them a couple pages a day, and it has worked wonderfully. Our children were essentially able to master the next grade years curriculum by the start of the new school year. This brand of books seems to match school textbooks/curriculum as close as possible from all the different brands of books we have purchased. They are well written and follow a natural progression of the subjects, building from the beginning of the school year, advancing to more advanced subject at the end of the grade level. We have made it a tradition to buy the next grade level books every summer, resulting in being more than prepared for class at the start of the year. They also are great for enrichment during the school year on subjects that the student needs a little extra help with. We buy every year.

Writing process, step by step. Not thrilled with EVERY lesson, but most are very good. Book progresses through the writing process well.

We home schooled for 5th grade to see if we could help the kids catch up to their level . Teachers have reported the kids are almost to level now it's about being consistent.I have seen improvement in my 11 year olds writing since starting these books. I see value in using these for additional practice over breaks ,summer or for the purpose of home school.

These have serve well, over the years we have been using. The exercises are good and with answers. We have recommended to other homeschooling families as well. These qould work well as supplemental item as well to boost better understanding.

I have found this line of learning books to be very helpful for my daughter during this trying time. Aside from distance learning, I have her work on a few assignments a week from different books to keep her stimulated. If she’s at the computer for too long she gets bored and wants to start goofing around. But with the book, and away from the computer she tends to do well. I am not one who has the teaching skills or patience as our teachers do, but I try to do my best. It also helped keeping her on track over the summer.
