Denon AVR-X2800H 7.2 Channel 8K Home Theater Receiver with Dolby Atmos/DTS:X and HEOS Built-in (Factory Certified Refurbished)

Denon AVR receiver arrived quickly and was better than described. Hard to believe it was refurbished. The unit and original packaging were in 100% perfect condition. I’ve used Denon for some time and am always satisfied with the performance. I’ve never bought refurbished before and very glad I did. All in all I saved $250 over the markets sale price and $550 over the MSRP!! And…..just as important, it sounds great. Has built in features to enhance movie back ground and voices as well as music

Over-excellent, I wish it had a little more power. The reciever was in excellent shape and was easy to setup with all parts included. Sound quality is very good, seperation is excellent, adjustments worked as expected (I had to youtube them to figure out how to adjust speaker levers after I used Odyssey) Remote should be back lit but for me its a non-isse as I use a harmony elite remote.

I replaced my AVR-1500H with this. The main reason was the older model having difficulty with 4K formats turning everything green/purple occasionally when switching sources. The X2800 is much newer and does not have this problem.Generally, this is quite an upgrade which is less noticeable in most other aspects. It does support 8K but I don’t have any device nor tv that does.

Good audio and video quality - a great upgrade to my lightning-zapped AVR-X2400H.Audio analyzer works better than the earlier version, but still required some tweaking of the rear surround (reduce) and Front Center (increase) channels.I had to raise the input trim levels for my HDMI 1&2 for TiVo and Roku to get the output level active in the first 1/3 of the volume control range.Bluetooth feed to external headphones works well but does not have the same volume level range as the main audio. Audio quality is not quite as good as the main output but will be good for late night listening.1080p menu system is a nice upgrade. Some complain that it is not 4k, but who needs it?My old remote works well (since it is the same model). Responds quickly to commands. Quick menu is nice and works well.Sirius XM works thru the required HEOS app on my phone. Some other streams work natively. I have not been able to connect to my Windows Home Server for my music library yet.Included all OEM accessories and a link to the manual, which is linked in the system menu. Other than a few finger smudges on the face, it looks good.As a refurb, I bought the extended warranty just in case.
