Moisturizing
This is a really comfortable wear and I have yet to get sun burnt while wearing it so I'll take that as a win. The cream is very moisturizing and great for the day time as it isn't too heavy or oily in my opinion. I believe this does a great job and has helped me a lot.

Smell
Product had a foul odor…like old cosmetics.

Better as sunscreen than moisturizer
Easy to apply due to being thin, not really oily but fairly runny, and does leave a little of a white cast. Has a neutral chemical kind of scent

great for under makeup
The Josh Rosebrook Nutrient Day Cream has been great for applying under my makeup. It does have a slight clay like texture or cast which isn't a total turn off as I am pretty pale anyway. It comes out a bit runny but that makes it a bit easier to rub in and absorb. No skin irritation or breakouts. The price is a bit on the higher side.

rancid
I just opened this yesterday. The expiry isn't until summer of next year and it smells rancid. I don't know if it works because I can't stand the smell to use. Disappointed.

Not crazy about the texture or smell of this stuff...but it IS cruelty-free!
I feel very conflicted about this product. I think it has some good value as an SPF cream, as it's very thin and plays well with other products. That's obviously essential, since sunscreen is generally the last step of any daytime skincare routine. The problem--at least for me--is that I don't LIKE its super thin and runny texture. It almost looks like the product is old and separated in the bottle or something. And then there's the smell. Oh, boy...it smells like Old Product. It's hard to look forward to using it...and so I usually don't. On the other hand, this seems like a pretty good brand. This is the first thing from their product line that I have tried, but according to their website, they use only the highest quality raw materials (smelly or not, I guess). Further, they are committed to ethical, sustainable, and fair-trade practices, and only work with suppliers whose values align with theirs. They are even certified by Leaping Bunny, and although I couldn't find any Leaping Bunny logo on their packaging, they are a cruelty-free brand. That's fantastic, and I certainly applaud that and recommend this brand for their ethical practices...but I just don't really like this stuff.

Viscous, Smells, Not For Me
The first time I used this, it was really viscous and due to that, it took a while for you to remove the 'white' layer and match your skin tone. This is very much like a sunscreen where it applies really white and it takes a while for the massage into your skin before the 'white' disappears. The other issue I have with this is how smelly it is, it really is bad!I wanted to love this but it just is not for me and I cannot recommend this.

Matte finish that lasts
Definitely one of the nicest sunscreens I've tried, and it *should be*, given it's price point.I've noticed that it dries really matte and does a really good job of minimizing oil production throughout the day without feeling like you're dried out. I'd imagine these two qualities would make it great for use under makeup. The consistency is really thin, it almost feels like water that you washed a paint brush in - but this helps it cover a lot of surface area and it sets in quickly.I would prefer if it had a nicer smell, I'd describe it as pretty clay-like, not terrible, but could be off putting for some.Overall, this is a premium product with premium presentation and a price tag to match, so far it's lasted past a month, without a sense that it's running low, hopefully it'll stand the test of time.
