Calculates when the filter needs replaced. No guessing.
Although I do feel the filters are a bit pricey. What the filters do for me to have clean drinking water., I love my epic water pitcher.

Cannot Recommend - just NSF 42
Just my honest opinion. It's advertised as compatible with Epic Pure pitchers but do not confuse compatible with comparable. The materials it is made with are NSF/ANSI 42 certified but the filter itself apparently has not been NSF/ANSI certified. As far as flow rate slower is better as the longer the water is in contact with the filter media the better it is at removing contaminants.Info from the seller indicated this filler is made in China by Jietai Purification Tech Co., Ltd.So it is certified to reduce aesthetic impurities such as chlorine and taste/odor. NSF/ANSI 42 standard establishes the minimum requirements to reduce non-health-related contaminants. It is therefore not certified to reduce fluoride, lead, arsenic, nitrate, radium 228, free chlorine residual, Total Trihalomethanes, Total Haloacetic acids such that, according to the water quality report from the city I live in, exist in trace amounts, below the allowed legal limits, in the water that flows from my tap. My tap water has not been tested for forever chemicals (PFAS) yet, supposed to this coming December. Not knowing so I want a filter certified to remove PFAS out of the water I drink for just in case. Before I learned about forever chemicals I was using a store brand filter pitcher from the local well known warehouse store that was certified to reduce NSF/ANSI 42,53 and 401 contaminants Chloramine & Chlorine (taste and odor) such as Mercury, Copper, Cadmium. Benzene, Estrone, Meprobamate, 1.2.4-Trichlorobenzene Triethoprim and Zinc. Then I started researching water filter pitchers and decided that for me since I was spending time to filter my drinking and cooking water I was going to more than just reduce aesthetic impurities.Since it is not certified to remove contaminants and no third party testing results or in house testing done by the manufacturer that I could find online I did not even bother to install one of these in my Epic Pitcher. My concern is about removing contaminants that could possibly affect my health as much as taste. There is an online tap water database that you can search for to check all the other contaminants by zip codes. It of course does not include what might be found in private well water.IMO it is wise to do a bit of research and decide what you need to filter out. You might find that you only need to buy a filter reduce aesthetic contaminates for taste. Then research the manufacturers brand and item number/information and find a suitable filter. As far as flow rate slower is better as the longer the water is in contact with the filter media the better it is at removing contaminants. If the info the seller gave me is correct the NSF certification for this IT'S Pure Filter, evidently made Jietai Purification Tech Co., Ltd. by can be found by searching for "nsf certified# C0337292-00" (without the quotes). The seller was unable to provide the manufacturer's item/part number - apparently there is none which confirms the info printed on the box that the filter itself apparently has not been NSF/ANSI certified but the materials were. NSF lists 4 different certifications for Jietai Purification Tech Co., Ltd. but the other 3 are only for refrigerator filters. This filter may fit in your pitcher but expect nothing beyond possible taste improvement from it.

Great water filters
These arrived quick and without any damage. This is a pack of four water filters for an epic water pitcher. These water filters do exactly what they should. I am very happy with these water filters. The water is crystal clear and without smell or taste after being filtered through these. If anyone were in the market for water filters, I would recommend these. I did ask the company a few questions, and they answered me back promptly.
