3M Dual Lock SJ3550, Heavy Duty Reclosable Fastener Tape, Waterproof (5X Stronger Than Classic Hook & Loop Tape) (25.4mm x 2.5 meter)

Bought these particular pads as I wanted to mount a small CO detector unit in an area that might be susceptible to vibration. The pads arrived quickly and were very sticky once the protector film had been removed. So they stuck well where they were needed and hopefully the little detector shouldn’t wobble around when in use. It remains to be seen how resilient that pads are in respect of the warmer temps that we seem to have these days.

Super tough locking tape that I use sparingly to attach guitar pedals to a pedalboard. Use too much and you ain’t getting it free without a struggle. Good stuff.

Good strong grip

This tape is superb as it sticks like the preverbal to a blanket. We used the tape around the beginning of October to fix plastic sheeting to our metal gazebo. This was to make the gazebo usable in winter. But to also make it usable in the summer, the sheeting had to be removable. Thus the use of this tape.And to say I am impressed is an understatement. At 4m long by 2.5 m high thses sheets are quite large. Yet having gone through 4 storms with winds gusting to 60mph, not only has the tape not pulled apart, it hasn't unstuck from the sheeting or gazebo either. This stuff HOLDS!!! Do NOT confuse this product with Velco. This is WAY stronger at sticking and holding together. If you want a fixing that will not let go but which you will need to take apart at some point then I can highly recommend this product.A few hints/tips......Make sure the surface you are going to glue onto is dust and grease free. Ethyl alcohol is great for this.Make sure you are CAREFUL when mounting as you will find it almost impossible to adjust the position should you place it in the wrong location.

It works but there was a lot less of it than I expected, usually this stuff comes in a roll.Don't get me wrong, it's very good at what it does, it just needs to come in a 25.4mm x 1meter roll

Strong adhesive and the velcro hooks make a strong connection

unfortunately I would not get the adhesive part of this to stick and stay secure to metal.I've trying ensuring the surface is clean and free from any chemicals, dirt etc.Gently heating with a hair dryerLeaving held clamp in positionThe patches failed within the first 24 hours so unfortunately I had to return the product
