It is a kit you get the filter and 2 seals that are on the filter already. Your pan gasket is reusable Just reuse it. This filter is the factory installed filter. Do not shop price. Shop quality.

No gasket in Kit?
No gasket,this kit comprised of one part therefor the word "kit" is inaccurate. I am now shopping for a pan gasket which should have been in a Kit!

Perfect fit for 5R55S
Motorcraft original part, perfect replacement part for my son's 2005 Explorer with the 5R55s transmission. Make sure you get the old o-rings out before putting the new filter in!

Perfect fit and function.
I had some transmission issues with my 2003 ford explorer and decided to try just a filter and oil change. I didn't have high hopes that it would fix my issues but it did. The transmission filter was identical to the original filter in my Ford. Perfect fit and function.
