I was very excited to try by Sunbello on our 5 day trip to the Outer Banks of NC. This sun shade did not disappoint. On the first evening we tried it there was minimal wind but we staked it into the sand and it provided great protection from the sun. The next day there was a great deal of wind which caused the Sunbello to rotate often and not provide consistent shade. What we realized then was that there are 2 additional holes near the front of the material closest to the center pole that allows you to stake it at the front in order to prevent it from rotating; That was a game-changer…the Sunbello provided great shade that did not move in the wind once we staked it. Best part, it sets up soooo fast. I saw a couple working to put up another type of sunshade. About 3mins into watching them bumble to set up their sunshade and fill bags with sand, my husband came back from the room with our Sunbello. I took it out of the bag, set it up and was back in my beach chair sipping my wine before the couple finished setting up their shade. Another day during this same vacation, an older gentleman walked over to us and asked about the Sunbello because he was impressed at how sleek it looked and how easy it looked to set up as compared to his umbrella which required filing a sand bag.We love this sunshade as you can tell. The overall quality, the light weight of it, the height that allowed for us to stand underneath and the ease of getting it back in the bag are only a few of the reasons we love the Sunbello so much.Hope this helps!

I have been through many of the options for relief from the sun while hanging out on the beach with my family. I finally discovered Solbello while shopping for something else. I ordered 1 to give it a try. I am so glad that I did. It takes 1 minute to screw the anchor pole in the ground and slide the wind canopy in place. Seriously, like 1 minute tops. It takes the same amount of time to disassemble and store it in the carry bag at the end of the day. Solbello also comes with straps to use if there is not enough wind on the beach, although I have not needed them yet. I finally enjoy going to the beach. I can carry the Solbello in 1 hand or on a shoulder, set it up and sit down under it before I even start to get hot!1. I have lost many umbrellas to the wind, some flying down the beach as I was trying to catch them, others just broken by gusts of wind.2. I carried a pop up tent for a while. Finally getting tired of dragging the large, heavy, unwieldy thing across the sand and trying to keep enough weight and/or sand bags on it to keep it from flying away.3. I used a beach canopy that utilized 4 aluminum poles and 4 sandbags to secure it for several years. It was lighter to carry, but took 15-20 minutes to setup in the blazing sun.4. Recently, I started using another wind canopy and it was working, with the exception of the 10 minute setup and sand bag to deal with. I also had to reset it when the wind changed direction and It was useless if there was no wind.If you are still on the fence, this seller (Paul), has absolutely the best customer service that I have experienced in a very long time. We were leaving the beach on a busy day and left the pole that anchors into the sand lying on top of the vehicle. It fell into the road and was damaged. I contacted Paul to see if I could purchase parts to fix the pole. He returned my call on a holiday weekend, sent the parts out the next day, including swag and the Allen wrench needed to install the parts. I was using the Solbello again 3 days after we broke it. I can’t recommend the Solbello enough, best purchase this year, by far!

This is the easiest shade I have ever put up or taken down. It's so easy to install you can get closer to the water and easily move it back when the water comes in. It's light and well packaged so carrying it is easy. I only wish they had a version that broke down smaller so I could pack it easier in my travel bags (I would own more if they made a model like that).

Best purchase I made this year. So simple to put up! One person can do it alone. Great shade. So much better than your typical umbrella! Makes the beach day easy and enjoyable.
