Great scope quality for price
I gave this 5 stars because it passed all advertised features and surpassed my expectations regardless of its price range.I typically purchase higher end optics but since I was getting a close to mid range scope for a Mini 30 I decided to experiment a bit. I'm actually very pleased with the Primary Arms scope. Granted the I glass isn't quite as clear as high end stuff but it's very functional and I seen worse on more expensive stuff. The 24mm objective doesn't let much light in darker environments but that's a given. Overall the scope is well built and durable. The reticle is easy to use. At higher settings the red light flares but that's fixed easily by dialing it down. The turrets are firm and click solidly in place, they even have a slip ring. One turret cap has a spare battery which I didn't see in the discription... so that's a nice plusThe only limitations of this scope are the known 1-6x24 optics. The relief is good for the Ruger Mini. So far I'm happy with this scope and it's nice not dishing out more for the scope than the rifle. Would I want this scope for high power, long range rifles? No. But this will definitely have me keeping my eyes open for other Primary Arms products.

Great glass. Tight eye box
Great glad. 1X does not fish bowl like my Sig lvpo. However you the eye box is not the best and the turn stile is verry hard to turn. I’m a strong dude. You can’t turn it while aiming like my sig or vudu. For the price point it is worth it. I have it on my range toy. It works and I look cool using a hour per week.

Excellent scope
The chevron reticle is very fast to acquire. I wanted an illuminated reticle for my 300blk but wanted something different than a standard duplex with a red dot in the middle. This will be a sub 200 yard gun for me so the 3-600 BDC points weren't really necessary. I keep the illumination off during the day, and turn it on at dawn/dusk or if doing some night hog hunting. I do wish the BDC was illuminated (think the previous version was), but it's not that big of a deal. There is a slight magnification at 1x but not distracting when shooting both eyes open. To me it's really close to a red dot. At 6x the eye box is a little small but manageable. I prefer flip-up scope covers so it's great they were included, as is a spare battery in the windage cap. Overall you won't find another scope in this price point that has the same features or with a reticle as good as this. You can't go wrong with this scope.

Very nice scope! The ACSS is really intuitive and well ...
I chose this as a primary optic on a Remington 700 SPS in 300 blackout because of the ACSS and BDC for the cartridge. I was really taken back with the clarity and eye relief. Very nice scope! The ACSS is really intuitive and well done. The reticle is bright and easily seen whether illuminated or not. Feels very sturdy and not cheap. Fit and finish were great. I liked it so much I went and bought a different Primary Arms product as it is clear they have a focus on quality. Great option for those looking for a 300 blackout optic!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLe876_6JEQ

Very good but FDE color is gold.
This is a good scope for the money, just good, not great as other youtubers\reviews might say. The biggest stand out on this optic is the daylight Nova reticle, otherwise without it I think the Burris Rt6 is a better higher quality scope within the price range. One important thing they missed out with this scope is there are no off positions in between the illumination settings, for a 4th Gen of a scope this should be a no brainer by now, cmon guys. The scope caps are mediocre, they are mostly for storage, as there is no way they will last with any actual use. The magnification adjustment is STIFF, and while many won't like this I actually do, as I don't find myself switching between 1x and higher magnification frequently, although if you were doing competition with this scope it would be an absolute hassle to use, keep that in mind. The glass is decent, the reticle is awesome, the feel is ok. The one thing that is currently bothering me and is not very well represented in the photos is the color, the FDE color is gold, not the anodized tan shade that other companies are using these days, but actually GOLD, and it sticks out. I'm trying to get used to it but it's hard and it's kind of hard to believe they let this color stick in production since it's very gaudy. Mine will get a coat of spray paint or cerakote. Overall I'm happy with the scope for now, time will tell if it stays good. I currently own 4 of the budget benchmark 1-6 scopes and I still think the Burris rt6 is the best one unless you absolutely must have the daylight bright reticle in which case the Nova is the right choice for you.

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a 1-6 power scope especially set up for a .300 Blackout.
Absolutely love the Primary Arms 1-6X24 SFP Hunting Scope w/ ACSS! I bought this for my .300 Blackout primarily for pig and deer hunting and couldn't be happier. The reticle has more options than I'll probably ever use but it's nice to know they are available and specifically designed for the .300 in super and sub sonic loads. The scope clarity is very good and the illuminated chevron on the reticle is perfect. On 1x power, the scope is very easy to use with both eyes open and the 6x power is great for getting the extra magnification for the further away shots. Definitely recommend getting a magnification throw lever to quickly switch from 1-6 power. I initially mounted the scope to the rifle and it was only off a couple inches at 50 yards so sighting in was very easy. I was using 147 GR FMJ REMAN bulk ammo and it was my first time shooting my shorter 1/7 twist barrel and I was able to maintain 3 inch groups at 50 yards. We spent more time just plinking than shooting for accuracy and the scope was perfect for what I bought it for sub-200-yard quick action hog shooting. I'm sure the groups will tighten up as I get more shots using some better ammo. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a 1-6 power scope especially set up for a .300 Blackout.
