Perfect except for one Good Thing To Know
The only issue with this is that you can't really fill your mixing bowl as much as with the original beater because it will flip it out of the bowl. It almost seems to mix at a higher speed than the mixer did with the original. That's not really a problem unless you make larger batters. We make our dog's food (dehydrated, we just mix it up in the standing mixer) and now we have to make it in two batches instead of one large batch. Otherwise, we are very happy with it!

Product worked great till it split. Haven't had it 1 year yet. I tried to find some customer service info for the Wiselet company but couldn't find any. I would have gladly given a 5 star rating if I could have gotten in touch with someone and fixed the issue.

doesn't fit perfectly, took a lot of adjustments
i bought the 4.5 qt flex edge beater for my kitchenaid. i made sure to check the model of my mixer so that i knew i got the right size.it is very heavy duty; it seems to be made well. it made short work of homemade brown sugar (4lbs worth). that said, it required a lot of adjusting the pin in my stand mixer to get it to work, and it still doesn't seem entirely perfect for batters. it seems to be better for mixing in dry ingredients. lastly, it is loose where it slides onto the pin of the mixer, so it rattles around there, which the original part does not do.i'm mixed on returning it because it did a great job with brown sugar, as i mentioned, but i'm not in love with it.

Better quality than Kitchenaid original
This Stainless Steel Flex Edge Beater for KitchenAid Classic&Artisan Tilt-Head 4.5-5 is a winner. It is mfg from stainless steel, heavy-duty, and has two flexible spatulas on either side. It is dishwasher-safe and isn't a cheap painted product that Kitchenaid sells that chips. Highly recommend this stainless steel one.

Didn’t work very good
Scraped sides. But pushed the batter to top of bowl. Had to scrape it from sides anyway Made the bowl wobble.
