Packaged very well. Everything that was supposed to be in the kit was there and it worked like it was supposed to—quite beautiful and mesmerizing! The friend I gave it to has had many inquiries about where to get one. Great value for the price. Wouldn’t give it to little kids though—they just break everything and it would be a waste. I plan to buy more of them for gifts. It’s great that they come in different colors too—the frames as well as the stands.

Had to tweak the air just a little, but the syringe it came with made it easy. You can adjust it so the sand falls quickly or slowly. Also, the more you shake it before you flip it makes the bubbles very tiny and that makes the sand fall much more slowly. If you’d like it to fall faster, you can leave the bubbles larger and it will fall much more quickly. The sparkles add such a wonderful depth to the mountainous landscapes that come out. I had one of these as a child and it really feels nostalgic to watch the pictures come about.

Absolutely perfect. It takes 2 or 3 rotations for things to flow smoothly but once they do it is very relaxing and a nice piece for my work desk.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve purchased more expensive sand art pieces (3 times the price of this one) and they are very nice quality with wood frame and stand, and that is the main difference between them and this one from SOFLIY brand. SOFLIY has a plastic rim which is a bit lumpy and a plastic base and when first handling it, it gives off a very strong plastic oder, but this goes away after washing it and using it a few times. The clear material is probably plexi and not glass, so it can have unwanted reflections depending on where you place it, but looks nice in front of a window with light coming through from behind. Most of the sand settles in about 1.5-2 minutes with the finer grains taking a bit longer to settle. Overall I think it’s a great product. I have the purple with white and gold; it has created beautiful “scenes”. Very satisfied.

So much fun, relaxing to watch, excellent quality, great value for the money. It had some bubbles when I first opened it but with the needle and syringe that came with it I was able to remove the bubbles easily. I chose the black, white and gold colors which matches my granite counter top and dining area. I plan to buy more as gifts.

Really neat and absorbing desk art, but as noted in the listing is a "frequently returned item". I received two, both of which appear to have been returns / re-sales. The first box arrived with box seal open, no instructions and a scratch on the plastic so I sent it back. Replacement arrived with seal broken, had instructions but missing syringe. Works well. Not defective but I wish I kept the first syringe to adjust the air volume. No way to contact seller.

Really enjoy having this on my desk.It's never the same and its entertaining to watch something not digital swirl & move.I only wish the base was the same shade of black as the frame (the base is lighter, textured & matte, the frame is smooth, true black, & glossy).Plus this one came with a syringe to add or take out air.Will definitely be getting other colors later on.

Doesn't keep out moisture. Now it's clumpy and doesn't fall smoothly.
