Best handheld ever
Not only does this work great for gaming, but it's a literal handheld computer that I even have my music development software on. This is changed the way that I use computers, and I love to dock it to my TV as a secondary pc.

Software problems
The product looked great out of the box but there was many errors when setting it up. It got stuck in a loop where it asked me to reset my pin and then it would just restart. I did this probably 15 times before I called ASUS support. They had me try a few things but nothing worked so they recommended I get a refund. On the good news I was easily able to get a refund.

Perfect for me
Cannot ask for a better handheld Windows PC and Gaming device. This ultra powerful device replaced my Xbox series S + SFF PC + Old MacBook Pro at the same time while being much smaller and lighter and with a touch screen and adequate cooling and support. It's perfect for me and I love that it exists, and I hope they continue to support it and iterate on it!

So far so good, but just a few small problems.
Been messing around with it for about a day now, and been impressed so far, performs well for something so small, and the screen is bright and looks nice, however, I have a few problems with this particular listing. First off, allegedly, this may be marked up significantly from its MSRP. Some reviewers have mentioned that it should be around $700, not $900 like it is here, and $200 is quite a markup. Additionally, the cable included in the box was not the US one. You can get a replacement for under $10, but it would be nice to not have to, especially with the markup. The only complaint I have with the device itself is the lack of any USB ports, which the comparable Steam Deck has. I just wish I could hook up a USB keyboard and mouse to make some things a bit easier to navigate.

Not the z1 extreme!!!!
Do not buy! Do not recommend. The listing is misleading, they are trying to sell a base z1 for the z1 extreme price. This is not for the z1 extreme this listing is for the lesser z1 model!!!!
