Vevor has the quality!
This is a good jack for the price. I was a little intimidated using it cause of the documented dangers that go with this style jack. Do your safety research and you will be fine. This jack seems to have an easier mechanism to switch between moving up and down. Again do your research on safety. There are online videos available. I have used this on my zero turn mowers and found it to be very stable while still using jack stands during deck maintenance. Found it easy to lower the jack just taking my time watching my foot and hand placement while lowering the unit. This is a great jack taking your time being safe with it. Vevor is good quality.

Heavy duty jack, works well.
This is a heavy duty jack. Very rugged and heavy item. The handle is stowed in the upright position for shipping, and it is held very tightly in that position. It takes a strong pull to release the handle from the stowed position. Also the lever to change operation from raising to lowering takes a strong push or pull. But once you get that mastered, the jack works very well. It's very strong and worked well for my job.

Worked great for pulling some very deeply sunk steel poles. Just read the instructions before use!
Very heavy duty. I used it to pull several 2 inch steel post that had been in the ground for 20 years, and were driven in at least 3 feet. Be sure to read the instructions, particularly about "lowering". The jack MUST be under load to lower, or it just falls to the bottom which is what it will do when you're done pulling something, and you flip the lever to lower. Once I read that this is the way these jacks work, I handled it accordingly. Also be sure to lube moving parts as specified.

Lube before use.
I read the posted reviews here before deciding on the Vevor 48" farm style jack. One review stated the up down lever failed right away. I did not see any defects in the lever on mine, it functions correctly. Right out of the box the lever required considerable effort to move to lowering position, a small amount of wheel bearing grease improved ease of use greatly.I did grease the main pins, the 2 that make it function. The two nubs to lock handle on storage position needed lube too.Several times I saw instructions were reviewed negatively, this was not an issue for me. The instructions that came with unit were adequate, and feel that anyone could read and understand.I also purchased a base and handle keeper from Seven Sparta. The handle keeper fits over the main upright but does not fit over the rubber grip in Vevor handle. The metal base on Jack is just a bit to wide for Seven Sparta base stand, see picture. I may remove Jack base and see if bending the angled sections more will improve the base fit.Arrived decently packaged, fully assembled with foam blocks securing. All in all I think it is a good value, for a tool I hope not use off roading, but believe will do the tasks it is designed to do.

Very strong and durable
This jack is very strong, durable and easy to use. Instructions and pictures used are just ok. It will not bend and design is excellent. I used this jack to remove a 8 foot fence post in concrete. The post snapped off but I used the jack to remove the rest of the post in the concrete and it had no problem. When finished it is easy to disengage the jack.

Money and frustration saver
Excellent product at a reasonable price. Jack works well. Allows this old man to work on equipment more easily than crawling around on the ground or paying a shop $100 an hour . Should have bought this years ago.

VEVOR FARM JACK – DISAPPOINTING QUALITY & DIFFICULT TO USE
I had high hopes for the VEVOR 48” Utility High Lift Farm Jack with its 7000 lbs capacity, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a frustrating and unreliable tool. From poor quality to stability issues, this jack is more of a headache than a helper.⸻NO INSTRUCTION MANUAL – FIGURE IT OUT YOURSELFStraight out of the box, there were zero instructions. A farm jack isn’t exactly a simple tool for beginners, and without a manual, it took way too long to figure out how to operate it safely. A product like this shouldn’t require guesswork.⸻HEAVY, CLUNKY, AND HARD TO USEI expected a farm jack to have some weight, but this one is exceptionally heavy and difficult to maneuver. The mechanism is stiff, and getting it to engage properly takes too much effort. Even after lubricating it, the operation was still far from smooth.⸻UNSTABLE & UNSAFEThe biggest problem? It’s not stable at all. Once I finally got it to work, the jack felt wobbly and unsafe under load. If you’re using this on uneven ground or trying to lift something heavy like a truck or tractor, be extremely careful—I wouldn’t trust it for serious work.⸻HOOK ATTACHMENT DOESN’T EVEN FITAnother major flaw—the hook attachment isn’t the right size. It barely fits into place and doesn’t lock in securely. A tool designed for heavy lifting needs properly fitting components, but this feels like cheap, mismatched parts thrown together.⸻BUILD QUALITY FEELS CHEAPDespite its heavy weight, the construction feels low quality. The paint job was already chipped in places when it arrived, and some of the components feel roughly finished, as if there was no quality control. Not something I’d expect from a heavy-duty tool.⸻NOT WORTH THE PRICE – LOOK ELSEWHEREFor a tool that’s supposed to be reliable in tough conditions, this jack falls short in almost every way. No instructions, hard to use, unstable, and poorly made—I wouldn’t trust it for serious work. Spend a little more on a better-built, more stable jack.
