Super happy.
I know nothing about violins so I did a bit of research before I bought it and the reviews weren’t wrong. You get everything you need to get going all wrapped up safely in a very sturdy feeling case and it’s pretty much set up ready. It took a while to figure out how to stop the tuning pegs loosening but using years of experience on other string instruments it came together. This was bought to learn on but as far as I can tell from never playing violin before it sounds really nice. But for the money you pay it’s well worth it. I’ve had other cheap violins in my hand and this feels like a worthwhile instrument. There is a really good video of a pro reviewing this on YouTube. That was the selling point. Definitely have that proud new owner feeling.

Nice instrument and excellent customer service
Bought this as an unexpected Christmas present for our daughter and have to say we were as surprised and pleased as she was on Christmas morning by the quality of the actual instrument which looks lovely and holds its tuning well given it's newness. It has a rather nice tone too and surpassed our expectations of an instrument purchased over the Internet without any prior testing! Sadly the hinges on the case were faulty and disintegrated a few weeks after purchase. The seller responded quickly and sensitively given the nature of the present and a new case has now been supplied which looks to be holding up. So, all in all a lovely instrument made by good people who we are pleased to recommend heartily.

Great learner violin
Great learner violin. Take your time setting up. I did and despite being new, holds the tone very well, don’t have to re-tune every time I pick it up. The bow being also new will need resining in. This will take a little while before you can hear the True Tone. Has a great tone for a first time violin and in my opinion well worth the money. The case is also excellent, with everything you need to get up and running. Overall a great first/learner violin.

Initially I thought that this was a great violin and good value for money for my 11 year old. However my daughter's violin teacher said that it had a fault with it and it will not stay in tune. This has taken a certain length of time to discover and the violin is now not able to be returned to the seller and I am now left with a violin that cost me a significant amount of money, cannot be returned and I have not had it for very long. My daughter loves her violin lessons and it is very frustrating that I spent money on a violin that is not going to stay in tune and will need to be replaced!

Amazing for the price
This violin arrived very fast and was very well packaged, which put me at ease.As I unpackaged the violin, things only got better. The violin is of a very nice quality with a fine appearance and a lovely and bright sound. The accessories are all of a good quality also.I would recommend this for any beginner as it is a steal for the price.

Nightmare tuning experience.
Setting up and tuning was a nightmare. I found the foam packing pieces meant to protect the bridge could not be removed without disturbing the bridge position. So the bridge moved and the E string fell off. Tuning proved difficult as the tuning pegs kept slipping. The pegs need to be pushed really hard in to prevent this. During tuning two strings slipped of the pegs so I'm wondering if they were properly fitted in the factory? However, for a cheap instrument the build quality seems ok and I believe it will be playable once I get used to it's little ways. Liked the quality of the case, but looks like it's a one size fits all, too long for this instrument and probably meant for a viola, not a 4/4 violin.

Highly recommend it, go get your violin now!!! :D
Thank you soo much for this violin! I got it back in March, and I love learning with it. The sound is deep and pure and I am loving every second of playing with it. The case is very steardy and effective, the wood of the violin looks and smells so nice and it is just a pleasure to witness. Very well done!

Appears to be a good beginner's violin
I mess around with fretted string instruments quite a lot, if not well, and thought I might give the violin a try. This is everything I imagine a beginner's violin should have and it apparently is all well made. It certainly compares favourably with similarly priced guitars, ukes or whatnot that usually require rebuilding. I had problems with the pegs slipping (why don't violins use machine tuners?) and getting it tuned right. This might have been avoided had the violin been set-up and even roughly tuned before shipping. Because I am a total novice to this instrument and unteachable (therefore no instructor to do it for me), I sent it back rather than risk breaking it. Return was entirely trouble-free, so I have no other complaints.
