Strong and Sharp
Although a little heavy that's because they are well made and strong easily cutting through thumb thick branches in seconds, much easier than Ratchet types.A good brand and well worth the money, they have a 5 year warranty too.

Cut easy
Great, cut branches with ease which is what I would expect from a great make like spear and jackson.

Did the job.
I bought this to trim some overhanging trees and it did the job ok. It's capable of cutting through about an inch of branch and is sturdy enough for some use.Perhaps not as far reaching as some of the extendable types but a reliable brand.

Great tool
Pro: Easy cut through branches.Clean cut, this features I like it , not similarwith anvil loopers that requires more effort for the same result.Stays sharp for long time, this is the 3rd year I use them and still they do easy clean cut.Con: Not expandable handlebars, don't need the ratchet feature as they easy and quick to operate without it, but I would be very pleased if for the next model there will be a telescopic handlebars feature, for easier way to reach the higher tree branches.Overall I am pleased.

Excellent cutters
Just what I needed to cut back some branches. Sharpness made this job so much easier than my old cutters. Not too heavy which is a bonus for me as I have arthritis in my hands.Would highly recommend this item

Can't fault it. Reasonable price for a well made tool.
So far so good. This is a solid, well-made tool. I did some research and although there were so many better looking, longer, better 'specced' loppers on Amazon, the reviews made me reconsider those. But glad I went with this eventually as it actually does what it's supposed to, without fuss. It's had quite a bit of use and still going well. Generally using to trim rose bushes, and other plants but also some challenging tree branches now and again. We oil it now and again to prevent rust etc. After all, if it's kept in good condition then it will happily do what you want it too for a longer period. So definitely invest in some light oil and get it across the blades carefull and especially in the pivot points. Recommended based on an item bought in 2023 so hopefully they don't change it for cheaper materials..
