I love these boots, In the spring the match so many of my light pastal dresses. every where I go some one tells me they love my boots.They are great for church, dinners out, or the club.That being said I would not use these to ride my MotorCycle, Dress For the slide not the ride. They offer very little support in a crash.

So, I'm a man buying woman's boots. Why? Because the online selection of men's tall GOTH BOOTS is bogus! These were the perfect middle zone of simple and embellished. I wasn't into spikes or full block platforms.The distinct shape of the sole, and more importantly, the heel was the selling point for me. As a Rockstar building his look, the pronounced heel implied femininity without the impracticality of a high heel style- a style that may be tough on the average man who won't ever wear high heels.Fresh out of the box, they seem sturdy and fairly lightweight. The lining inside is super soft, unlike most shoes in general. The squeak of movement is minimal and will surely fade to a degree with wear. Not sure if the toe bend will break in due to the thickness of the sole, but I haven't found that to be an issue.My only complaint is the width of the opening around your calf. I'm thin, but not that thin, and they're maybe a quarter inch big. This would be no problem if the strap around the top had holes for potential tightening. Well, you could make you own holes, yes, and this is just what I'll do. BUT, there is plenty of room on the strap that they could've used. I do realize that woman's apparel usually prioritizes fashion over function, so my complaint shouldn't be taken as a mark of quality for this specific product.Lastly, for the men out there- I am a size 9 in men's. Internet says you should size up 1.5 sizes to get a men's size, but they didn't have a woman's size 10.5, so I took the risk on a size 10. A PERFECT FIT! Maybe not as much wiggle room as my Timberlands, but undoubtably a 100% perfect form fit. Size up 1 for men's!

I am very pleased with these boots, so much it compelled me to leave a review for others considering these. I absolutely love boots and would wear them everyday if the weather permitted. I wear a size 11 and have 16 inch calves so that can be a major issue with boots. These fit me really good and I had enough room to place a cushioned insert for extra support. I wore these to a concert the other night standing on a cement floor and my feet did not hurt me, they are easy for me to get on with the zipper and the laces allow to tighten or loosen as needed. The detachable pouch on the back can be useful to carry a lip gloss, money, debit card. For the money I spent on these I am very pleased! I have received many compliments on them and can't wait to wear them again!
