It works like magic
I am now just so happy I found this product. My statues in a cabinet are safe from the violence my 5 yr old granddaughter has shown shaking the cabinet. She's autistic and has little fits but now my mind is at ease. It's easy to use and doesn't take much product to hold in place. Truly recommend 👌

CAT OWNERS NEED THIS
You know when you watch cat videos online and that’s cats are so cute, and you think “Gee, I want a cute little buddy in my house!” and then you go to your local animal shelter and spend money on a kitten, and you think everything is going to be great? Well it’s not. Cats are the literal devil. There was a reason the cat in Disney’s Cinderella was named Lucifer. Cats were put on this planet to punish humanity for our sins. My cat has broken 4 glasses, 3 mugs, a bowl, a flower pot, and a lamp in 4 months. With every flick of his paw the pit of Tartarus rips open, and my material items are cast in the inferno. I thought all hope was lost until I discovered museum wax. As Odysseus plugged his men’s’ ears with beeswax to dull the sirens’ call, so too does this wax weaken the little demon’s power in my house. No longer do my possession shatter on the floor. I have regained the power. My items are secured. If you have let one of Satan’s hairballs into your home, you need this wax. Don’t let them win. Save your lamps. Deliver your tchotchkes from the hands on these feline invaders. Stay strong.

Works very well
Have used this type of product before, and it’s perfect for keeping items in place. The little wooden scraper broke almost immediately, though.

Purrfect for cat owners!
For several years, I've been afraid to put out any breakable knick knacks because of my cats, but this year I really wanted to put my Christmas nativity set on the mantle where it could be seen and enjoyed instead of high atop the bookcase where I usually put it. This wax worked great! One of my cats walked right through the pieces and none of them moved at all! It's very easy to apply the wax and very easy to remove an object from the surface once you stick it down. It does take some effort to scrape the wax off the object and off the surface, but it wasn't that bad. My nativity set is made of resin and the mantle is finished wood; the wax did not damage either surface. Also, a little goes a very long way; I ordered 2 jars but I think it will be years before I finish the first one. I'm very pleased with this product!

IS NOT CLEAR, DOES NOT HOLD, LEAVES RESIDUE
This product is absolutely awful, it's advertised for use with glass objects it even says "Crystalline Clear" on the front of the container, It's not clear it's white. It looks like a sturdy workable putty in the photo, this is not true it's like an awful paste that leaves a near impossible residue to remove on every surface it touches. It is absolutely not as advertised. The image they use of it under a vase is not even this product is is another product in their line called "Museum Gel," which is actually clear. It isn't clear, doesn't hold anything, and leaves a disgusting residue behind, don't waste your money it does not serve its purpose. Alsop the "packaging" was just the two jars of waxed taped together with packing tape.(I bought this to secure things on my des and also to use to hold Minifigures on a stand so that they could be painted if it can't hold the weight of a 1-inch tall plastic figure it wont hold your decor. Not to mention the residue ruined one of my minis)

Just use museum putty instead
Applying it isnt too bad, but a little harder to apply than museum putty. Removing it is a huge pain, unlike museum putty, snd even if you get it off there can be a residual layer of wax. Less adhesive than museum waxI suppose if museum wax is too strong or you really really want something translucent, then yeah use this
