Karcher's window vac is powerful and very easy to use.The water emptying is simple to do just unplug the tab and tip out the water.Leaves the windows streak free and is effective at cleaning highly soaked panes.The size is small and is easily handled, it picks up water at very high speeds.The quality as expected from Karcher is of high quality plastics.

Update: Still highly recommended, but here's another tip. It's still working well, but it does get stiffer to open up the water channel to empty, so I put on a small drop of WD40 on the screw on part and it now works a treat at getting it on and off again!Original Review: This unit is an excellent lightweight utility. Very easy to use and assemble. Noise level is fine. We use it for cleaning horrid condensation off all the windows and water from the bathroom walls by the shower and the shower tray. It removes the water in no time and makes a reassuring crackling sucking sound as it swallows up the water and condensation. The only draw back is the maximum level of water that the container can take is not high enough, I'd advise you don't go over the maximum line before emptying it, as it may leak. At first it's also fiddly to pull out the water container from the unit and undoing the water stopper took me a bit of time to work out (instructions weren't good for my level of intelligence) you don't need to force it, like I tried at first, you just need to lightly twist the stopper off and empty the bottle, to get it back on press down on it gently until you hear a clonk sound then twist it to secure it. Apart from these slight annoyances, I highly recommend this unit and so will still give it 5 stars.

From a practical point of view an excellent product. For two years it has worked well and has made the job of cleaning windows so much easier and effective (used about a couple of times a month). Unfortunately just after the warranty expiration date the machine would no longer charge, which I assume is a battery failure as reported by some other users.A little bit apprehensive, I have ordered another as I have always been satisfied with this model. I am just hoping that it will last a bit longer or break down during the warranty period.! Would be five stars if it had lasted as long as some of the purchasers have found. Fingers crossed.Update- purchased new Vac and charged fully. Tried new charger on old Vac and it charged fully.If LED on Vac comes on (flashing) and stops after about 15-30 secs, Charger is not working or battery is full. Check before assuming battery or vac is faulty! Product not faulty so increased to 4 stars. One star dropped for old charger failing. It happens.

An excellent piece of equipment for any home. We use this everyday for cleaning the shower and occasionally for the windows. Also very good for cleaning up spills of liquid. Easy to empty and quick to recharge. A very valuable item to own.

Great value and very effective

This is a product that works well and better than anything else we’ve tried - which is why we keep buying them. It’s a good design, light weight, is quiet and easy to use - it wouldn't seem expensive if it didn’t have to be periodically replaced. We are on to our on to our third (or possibly fourth) one. The last one worked for about two years - the others haven’t lasted that long. I suspect that it’s water getting into the wrong part of the device - which if true isn’t very good as in use you’re collecting the water you’ve spread on the glass. If the fault is other then this it still is very poor as the device suffers a total and immediate failure - it works as normal for one cleaning session and the next time you go to use it it just doesn’t work. The first thought is the battery has run down but though charging seems to work the device is dead.I believe Karcher should be able to do better - I haven’t had similar issues with their pressure washers!
