Good product
Would be better if the area to step on was 8-10 inches wider.

Standard size scale
This review is for the following item: JJ CARE Medical Scale - Heavy Duty 660 lbs/299 Kgs Capacity Wrestling Scale for Gyms with Easy to Read LCD Display | Professional Medical Grade Scale for Body Weight, Home, Hospital, & PhysiciansThe scale takes 4 AA batteries (included) or can be plugged in to an electrical outlet with the included cord and plug. The scale is about the same size as any electronic bathroom scale you can purchase. I thought it would be much larger as the scale is rated up to 660 pounds. But it is less than 12 inches square. That might not be an issue for most, but I would think someone that needs a scale that goes to 660 pounds would need a larger surface area to stand on.The LED display can be attached to the wall with the included bracket. The cord that attaches the LED display to the scale is a curled cord that stretches to approximately 9 feet. The scale can weigh in either pounds of kilograms. Very easy to switch by pushing a button on the display. There is also a button for TARE.I did find that the scale constantly fluctuated 4-8 ounces while I was standing on the scale without moving. For me that isn't a big deal, I just want to know how many pounds I weigh, I don't worry about the ounces. But I'm just letting you know my experience in case you really want to know how many pounds and ounces you weigh.Other than the fact that this scale has an LED display that you can mount on a wall or table, I don't find it to be any better than any other electronic scale on the market. There is the TARE button, and at first I thought that would be nice if someone had to weigh in with their oxygen tank. But the base of the scale isn't large enough to put on the tank and then have a person stand on the scale with the tank. So I don't really understand what the point of the TARE button is on this scale. Also many other scales have the ability to switch between pounds and kilograms, so that isn't that great of a bonus feature. If you need a scale that goes as high as 660 pounds this might work for you if you can easily stand on a bathroom scale. But if you are looking for a scale that is larger in size to stand on, you might want to look elsewhere. This isn't larger than any other electronic scale I have had.

Very accurate and great quality scale.
We are very happy with this medical grade scale. I love that it can be plugged in with an AC adapter plug if you’re out of batteries. It is a standard home scale sized base.As for accuracy, it is impressive! The sensitivity is the best of any scale I’ve owned. I have two small dogs (10 & 12lbs) and it weighs them accurately! Right to the ounce, it matches the Vet scales. No other scale I own is sensitive enough to weigh them accurately.Once the screen is powered on, it stays in a constant state of measuring. So, if you move around a lot while on it, the ounces will fluctuate, until you stand still. That is just proof of a good scale. If you step on and don’t move, the weight displays one weight and that is your actual weight.I love the constant state of measuring! I have a bad habit of weighing myself more than once in a row, to make sure it is accurate. With my old digital scale, I had to step off, wait for the scale to shut off and clear the screen, step back on and get the second weight and so on. A bit time consuming. With this scale, I step on, get weight, step off and instantly right back on due to it constantly measuring. It does have a memory button, that remembers the previous weight. What would make it perfect for me, is if it had rechargeable lithium batteries and the screen was removable/portable for recharging. In my opinion it is overpriced.Overall, I’m very happy with this scale!

For Heavy Duty Use - Easy To Use & Read
No pun intended here, but this is a good scale for heavy duty use. In other words, one that can endure a lot of use. Easy enough to use and it's also portable. The base itself is sturdy and durable. You can tell it's a substantial piece of equipment and not just some lightweight piece of junk. Yet it's also lightweight enough to easily move this around, even by more fragile individuals. Unlike most floor scales, the reading apparatus is separate from the platform itself. Makes for easier reading, especially for those whose body parts get in the way of seeing what's below, or their eyesight make it difficult to see that far clear enough. The digital numbers are nice and large and easy to read, even for we seniors. Comes with a brace for sitting on a ledge or you can mount it to a wall. From what I can tell, it seems accurate. Don't have a way as of yet to figure that out to the ounce, but it all looks correct to my sensibilities.
