Does what it’s supposed too!!
My son is autistic and his favorite color is orange. I was very hesitant because I have already bought him so many pairs of headphones. My son has been using these headphones for a little over three years now and they work fantastic. They’re comfortable. They’re not hard for him to wear, the strap that goes over the head is also padded so it’s not hurting his head at all. We love these. He wears them in stores to the fireworks. He wears them all day at school and it most definitely helps with loud sounds.

Love these
These are excellent for kids. Have one pair for each of them. Fit great. Block out enough noise but not everything. Cute too!

Noise Muffling, Not Noise Canceling!!!
They work great for muddling the noise. Bought these for my Autistic grand daughter with William's Syndrome. She's not quite 2 and understands the concept. She uses them when things are too loud but yet she is still interested in participating. They work perfect for her!

Good for autism spectrum kiddos
The first time I've been able to vacuum or use the blender without my son being terrified and clinging to me screaming. Make sure you get your child accustomed to these before you actually need them. My son is on the spectrum and tolerated them well, I tried them on and they are comfortable. These are a win for our family!

Bought this for autistic child for 4th of July fireworks
Before getting into details, if you're looking for something that will completely block out and cancel noise, this product will not work. This product muffles sound and noise. It does not block it. You'll be better off getting a product that's specifically designed for blocking and canceling noise. This product has cleaely not been designed for that. Now to the details.I bought this for my autistic child who does not like anything on her head or over her ears and does well in crowd, loud places for most part. So I was not willing to pay big money when I had my serious doubts that she was going to wear them at all. I was surprised to see that she wanted to wear them even ahead of the event. I had been preparing her for over a week, letting her know that we were going to go to big fireworks show for the 4th of July. She likes bright colors. So that was a huge plus with this product. She started to try them on several days before the actual day and I immediately noticed a few things: 1) The did look comfy; 2) They're a bit small; 3) Not sure how long they'll last when fully extended as the plastic band inside seems a bit flimsy.Going back to the canceling vs muffling sound, I managed to put one of the cups over my own ear and they are pretty good. On an adult ear, they sit on the ear itself. For a child, to work, the ear should be cupped inside. So look out for that when trying this ir any other similar product. Concerning my child, it did cover her ears completely, meaning that they were inside the cup, which us what I wanted and it is more comfortable, as well. (I know this firsthand because I used to work on noisy plant floors and I needed do wear noise-cancelling headsets.)For the price I paid for it ($10 and some cents including taxes,) it is better than expected. Materials are good. They are soft and smooth, outer orange shell seems of durable material. So overall, it was definitely a great purchase for the price. The size is a bit misleading. It says on the package that it is for children aged 5 to 10. My child is barely passed 7 years old. Her head is 52 cms (20.5 in) wide. As you can see in the picture I attached that I took during the fireworks show we went to (sorry for the quality, there's so much you can do in pitch dark with an old cell phone and a kid who does not stop moving,) the otange ear covers are forcing the extender plastic white band in an angle that will eventually break with a big head. So I would have preferred that instead of the kid's age, the package would explicitly state the head diameter or size.Last thing for parents with children on the autism spectrum. If your child does well with loud noises but may once in a while cover his or her ears, which is the case with ny kid, this is a nice product for when they want to muffle sound on and off. Mine did fantastic at the fireworks. She would put them on herself when she felt the explosions were a bit too loud. Otherwise, she would take them off. She did great actually. But if your child is a lot more sensitive to sound than mine is, look elsewhere. This product won't help you.I'd recommend this product to get by for one or two events for example and you're not sure if your kid will ever wear them again or at all. If you want something more permanent, it won't do it.

Great looking product that gets the job done.
My daughter is on the spectrum and I have tried a few different versions of these. Most look like they are for a gun range, where these have a more Suttle look to them. My daughter has never complained about them, and she asks for them whenever she needs them. She didn't do that as often with the bigger gun range looking ones.

Amazing for our son with ASD :)
These are amazing for the price! Our 5yr old son has ASD and he loves these! He was very excited we found them in his favorite color :) When ever he needs extra quiet, or his sisters are too loud he knows to grab the headphones. I have put them on and it is very good sound cancelling I was actually surprised by how quiet it makes everything. LOVE IT!

Good product
The hearmuffs are great. A child with Down Syndrome uses them because she is frightened of loud noises. The muffs help keep her calm.
