So glad to get this, finally!
Instructions would definitely be helpful. The black things between the tube do come out, if you look closely you will see a small opening for the string to pass thru... then just put the tubes together. I have not had opportunity to use it yet but I'm sure it will work fine. I will update this review when I get a chance to use it.

It Works, but way overpriced
Definitely not a quality item. Cheap construction, super flimsy. Making a mint off of us nature lovers. Out of the box, the second you look at it, you see the black plugs in the handle sections need to be removed, so you pull them lineup the slot. You have to tap it to knock the bug out and each time I lightly tap it I’m afraid the flimsy toy will break. -the first day I removed 2 ladybugs, a stink bug, and a baby fly from my screened in porch. Was easy to use.

Function
This product is literally held together by what looks to be dental floss. Product is in infancy on Shark Tank so I figured hopefully that this product will be better made. The one that I received is worthless.

Written instructions needed. The black pieces on connecting tubes need to be removed carefully
Got the bug catcher today. Was almost ready to snap the connecting cord not understanding that it is supposed to be there. Had read the reviews showing the connecting tubes come with some unnecessary black caps at the end of the tubes. Who would have thought the attached black pieces were to be thrown away?Had to YouTube the assembly instructions and even on YouTube it didn't show the way to remove the black pieces .I sure hope if the string that connects the tubes and the bug catcher comes loose or breaks there is a way to replace it. This seems a bit flimsy. I probably should have waited many months after the product was shown on Shark Tank for it to be improved. But I detest cockroaches and every time I saw one would have to put a plastic cup on it until my husband, his majesty, dignified himself to throw it on the streets. Meanwhile, it could be hours of me watching the cup wondering if the roach would escape and spread its wings. Therefore I decided without a bit of hesitation to purchase the most expensive bug catcher which has a noble purpose of leaving potentially reincarnated family members alive that came to my house in the form of roaches.

Best Bug Catcher Ever!
I like to avoid killing bugs if I can, especially if they're a bit to big or fast to casually step on so I grabbed this. Within the week I had the perfect opportunity to test this and managed to catch this spider and safely release him outside far far far away from my house.

Where has this been all my life?
As someone who has always been deathly afraid of bugs, with roaches been at the top, this is such a life saver for me! When I say I have a phobia, I mean it, I can't even stand to be near them, dead or alive, and this little tool is so amazing, the fact that I can do critter clean up while being able to them literally at arms length is beyond amazing for me. I wish I could thank the investor myself, wish someone had invented this sooner

Inadequate instructions
I was anxious to get this as we get lots of spiders. I’ve been using the upside down cup method. When I received this in a paper envelope I was a little wary that it should have been packed in a box. Seeing on Shark tank that it cost the maker $10 and sells it for close to $50 it should have been wrapped in mink. The problem was the large handle split in two with a microscopic string connecting the 2 long tubes. In order to unpack them from the plastic cover I cut the plastic in the middle of the 2 arms not noticing the thin string that operates the product. There were no instructions of any kind that would have been helping in saving the string I cut. There was a very small pamphlet inside the enclosed cup that I found impossible to retrieve. Total frustration. Regretfully I had to return it for a refund. Sorry but it will be extremely important that you put a sticker on the plastic holding the 2 arms. Put it at the center saying “ Do Not Cut,, thin string important”. Also have an instruction booklet LARGER and written as though an 8 yr old is going to assemble it. AND,,, the pamphlet should NOT be placed inside the impenetrable cup.
